After the resignation of the previous professors, Roy sat in his office at Hogwarts, contemplating who would be suitable for Defence Against the Dark Arts. An idea struck him—why not bring in seasoned fighters who have faced real darkness? Immediately, he thought of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black.
Determined, Roy traveled to Grimmauld Place, where he was greeted by a familiar sight:

Dumbledore blushed slightly, embarrassed, and gave no answer. Roy laughed and took a seat, joining the group for a hearty lunch with Arthur, Molly, Fred, George, Moody, Shacklebolt, Tonks, Dumbledore, Remus, and Sirius.
After lunch, Roy addressed Dumbledore directly:"I've come to ask Remus and Sirius to take up the Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts."
Before anyone could object, Roy added,"And don't worry—the curse that haunted this position has been lifted."
A stunned silence fell over the room. Even Dumbledore raised an eyebrow, guessing what Roy had done, but he said nothing. Relief washed over him—the long-standing plague on the Defence Against the Dark Arts position was finally gone.
Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, seeing the seriousness in Roy's eyes, agreed immediately."We'll start by next week," Lupin said."Count us in," Sirius added with a smirk.
Satisfied, Roy left Grimmauld Place, already planning the next steps to strengthen Hogwarts and prepare students for the challenges ahead.
