Chapter 30 - Stolen gifts

If there is one thing I have learned about a good relationship it is that you have to pay attention to what your partner wants and help them achieve it.

I could see how much Cuau wanted to be an official part of our family and I was happy that was what he wanted. But my biggest problem was finding a moment to essentially ravish him.

For Uchel, I was able to provide him comfort at a hard time in his life. Ocello led the way and showed me how cherished I was.

Cuau, for all of his playfulness and teasing, he made sure not to cross any lines. I think he was worried that I would reject him and that might be why he held back.

That is why I wanted to go to the fields. He was happiest tending to his plots of land away from the bustle of the village. Out there, he could have silence and didn't have to perform for the audience.

As all four of us made our way down the familiar path, I couldn't help but compare Cuau's fields with everyone else's.
