Gine noticed my distress and descended lower and back to the rooftop. He immediately shifted back and the straps fell to the ground.
I don't even know how he was able to catch me. He was shouting at me, but I couldn't understand him.
As the dizziness passed, I realized I was being carried to my bedroom by Gine. Ocello was arguing with him.
I am pretty sure that I was about to pass out and was struggling to hold on to consciousness.
When Gine laid me I my bed I forced myself to gasp in air. My confusion was starting to clear and I could hear the men quarrelling with each other.
"Stop." I called out weakly and they all grew quite. "I'm a little woozie is all. I forgot about the lack of oxygen in higher elevations."
"Kami! I'm so sorry, if I had known…" Gine came to my side, his worry apparent on his face. I could see Ocello and now Uchel with thunderous looks on their faces. Kachel just ignored the tension in the room and babbled in Uchel's arms.
