When the car pulled up into the garage of Alexander's home, Serena heaved a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about my whereabouts." After a few seconds of hesitating and deliberating within herself, she apologized. "I shouldn't have made you worried especially after what happened.
Alexander turned slightly to her. He picked her hand. "I'm also sorry for being inconsiderate. It's just..." he paused, with his free hand, he ran a hand through his hair.
"...I'm worried. For you. I have a lot of enemies and they know about you. They might decide to hurt you just to get to me. And I don't want you to be caught in the midst of old grudges."
Serena listened to him quietly. She knew that Alexander had a lot of enemies. She just didn't know that it was this... bad.
