Carefully, Alexander asked. "Do you know about your mother's past? Did she tell you about herself?"
Serena stilled as she fell into deep thoughts. After a while, she shook her head. "She didn't tell me anything."
Alexander was silent for a while, hesitation etched on his features. "Your mom has the same surname as Grandpa Miles."
Before Serena could process his words, he added. "When I was young, I heard that Grandpa Miles had a daughter. Her name was Regina Hale."
Serena froze, eyes bulging in disbelief. "How's that possible?" She asked quietly as she lowered her head.
"My best bet is that you have a huge semblance to your mom. This could be the reason for Grandpa Miles's questions earlier."
Serena was silent as she took in his words. After a while, she raised her head, her eyes were red as she stared at Alexander.
"So, you're telling me that there is a major possibility that my mom is Grandpa Miles's daughter." Serena asked, chuckling. Alexander nodded in response to her.
