Chapter 7 - REBIRTH : A New Start From Zero

"In this world, all who are born must die — that is the law I made.I often wondered who I truly was until I remembered :I am the God of Creation.

I forged the world from nothing, shaped beings and beasts alike. I watched them live, love, and die —saw men fall for love ,and others die to protect their families .I wondered why they would do such things…until the day my own law came for me.

The law of death — my law — claimed its maker. How could that be ?How could a god die?

I had no heir, no successor, no one to guard my throne or my realm .And as I faded, my divine form scattered—turning into golden dust, drifting across the world I once ruled."

"So this is my end…Silence. Endless, absolute silence. No stars, no throne, no realm—just the echo of what once was me.

But then, in that boundless void… a spark.A light.Faint at first, then growing — warm, pulsing, alive.

Curiosity, that ancient habit of mine, stirred once more.'What is that? Another soul? Or did someone forget to turn the universe off?'I drifted closer. The light flared—and before I could think, it swallowed me whole.

Everything spun. For a moment, I felt… weight.A body? Softness? Warmth?Something was pressing against me—no, someone was holding me.

My eyes fluttered open—everything was blurry, glowing.I blinked once, twice—and then I saw them.

A woman, radiant and beautiful, with blonde hair that shimmered like sunlight and emerald eyes so bright I half-thought I'd created them myself.Beside her stood a tall man — strong build, sharp jawline, probably trying to look stoic but failing miserably as tears glistened in his eyes.

Both of them looked so young, barely in their twenties.I wanted to say, 'Congratulations, you're parents!'But all that came out was—"Waaah!"

…That was me.I cried. The God of Creation — maker of worlds, sculptor of reality — reduced to a wailing infant in the arms of two overexcited twenty-somethings.

The woman smiled down at me, tears falling onto my tiny face. The man laughed awkwardly, patting her shoulder as if that would help.'Ah, yes,' I thought bitterly, 'reincarnated and already drooled on. Perfect.'

Her warmth was overwhelming though — gentle, comforting in a way even divine fire never was.For the first time since creation itself, I felt… small.Fragile. Mortal.

And somehow, that didn't feel so bad.

Still, part of me couldn't stop thinking—'Wait, do they even know who they're holding? Should I tell them? Maybe later. After nap time.'

My eyes fluttered open. For a second, I thought it was all a dream — the void, the light, the crying, everything.

But no…The softness beneath me was real. The warmth — real. And the two faces leaning over me?Definitely real.

I blinked hard, trying to focus through this ridiculous baby vision. Everything was blurry and glowing, like someone turned the brightness of the world to max.

There they were again — the woman with golden hair that seemed to catch the morning light, and the tall man beside her whose every movement screamed "I'm trying really hard to look calm but I have no idea what I'm doing."

It hit me like divine lightning.Oh no… I'm not dreaming.I really was reborn. And those two beautiful, young, absurdly happy humans…they were my parents.

The woman smiled — the kind of smile that could melt even a god's composure."Look, he's awake!" she whispered, her voice soft like wind through spring blossoms.

The man leaned closer, eyes bright with pride."He's already staring at us. Smart kid, just like his old man."

If I could talk, I would've said,'Old man? You look barely older than me in my prime divine days!'

Instead, I gurgled something incomprehensible and promptly drooled on myself.Ah yes. Dignity: gone.Former god or not, I was now a tiny, wriggling bundle of chaos.

But as they looked down at me — her gentle touch brushing my cheek, his warm laughter filling the room —I felt something new.Not divine power. Not cosmic order.Something smaller… softer.

Love.

Maybe this mortal life wouldn't be so bad after all.
