Chapter 35 - [35]: Group Photo

"Are you feeling unwell?!"

Wakana asked worriedly, panic clearly visible on his face.

He reached out to touch Marin's forehead, but his arm, halfway extended, quickly withdrew.

What was I even thinking?

Marin's cheeks were flushed, a fine layer of sweat beaded on her face, slowly trickling down her cheeks, giving off a tingling sensation.

"My clothes, my clothes are about to fall off."

"Huh?!"

"My clothes are about to fall off, which part?"

"Last night, when reviewing the photos, I thought Shizuku's chest might be a bit bigger," Marin panted. "So I specifically added two extra bra pads when I came today."

"Now it feels like my chest is about to burst."

Wakana covered his forehead.

"Of course! I made it according to your measurements, there's no room for bra pads at all. Besides, Shizuku's measurements only exist in the game."

After complaining, Wakana remembered what Akira had reminded him of.

"How is Kitagawa-san feeling? She didn't get heatstroke, did she?"

Marin swayed, supporting herself with her hands on her knees.

"It's so hot, it feels like there's sweat under my wig and clothes. It's so uncomfortable, I can't take it anymore."

"Gojo-kun, if you had come any later, I might have fainted. I was just thinking of looking for Gojo-kun. It's really great that Gojo-kun found me."

Although she was uncomfortable all over, Marin still showed a relieved smile on her face.

Wakana's heart rate suddenly accelerated.

Akira's urging seemed to echo in his ears.

"It's all my fault, Kitagawa-san!"

Wakana apologized, "Kitagawa-san, let's find a place to rest!"

"Okay!"

Marin's voice lacked energy.

"They went on a date," Akira said with emotion, watching Wakana and Marin leave the exhibition.

"It looks like that girl is about to get heatstroke."

Sajuna observed for a moment, feeling that Marin's mental state was not good.

"But her clothes are really beautiful. I want to wear clothes like that."

"So, Sajuna, is there a character you want to cosplay?" Akira asked. "Didn't you say yesterday you wanted Wakana to make clothes?"

Sajuna looked up at Akira.

"I want to cosplay with Aki-Kun."

"Ah?"

Akira was surprised; Sajuna had actually taken the initiative to invite someone to cosplay together.

"I want to cosplay with Aki-Kun."

Sajuna repeated, staring intently at Akira.

"Okay."

Akira agreed this time.

Let's stick with the original cosplay plan.

Although Sajuna didn't mention wanting to cosplay a magical girl, judging from her past photos, she had cosplayed magical girls quite frequently.

"Sajuna, how about we cosplay magical girls?"

"What?"

"How about we cosplay 'Flower Princess!! Fire!'"

Akira said, looking at the stunned Sajuna, and gently stroked her soft hair.

"How about Sajuna cosplays Nikaido Shion?"

Sajuna looked at Akira blankly.

"Aki-Kun watches magical girls too?"

"I haven't had time to watch it yet."

Akira sighed, time was always too tight.

Aside from dating Sajuna, most of his time was spent leveling up.

He simply couldn't find any time to watch anime.

"I—I really want to cosplay Nikaido Shion during her black lily period," Sajuna stammered.

"It's quite surprising to hear Nikaido Shion's name from Aki-Kun."

Akira smiled and showed Sajuna his phone screen.

"After all, it's a character Sajuna has cosplayed, so I should at least know the name."

On the screen, little Shion from "Flower Princess!! Fire!" whom she had once cosplayed, appeared before her eyes.

"Aki-Kun, you set it as your wallpaper."

"Mm."

"Aki-Kun, you're going to say it's too cute again, aren't you?"

Sajuna said in advance.

"Sajuna really understands me too well."

"Aki-Kun is the one, it's always that reason."

Even after hearing it so many times, her heart still fluttered.

Sajuna gently covered her face; it was the first time her boyfriend had set her photo as his wallpaper.

"Aki-Kun."

"Mm."

"Give me a picture."

"Eh?!"

Akira turned his head; Sajuna was looking down, her cheeks, though covered by a mask, showing a blush that spread to her neck.

"Okay."

Akira agreed.

"I'll take one for you tonight."

Sajuna's neck turned even redder.

The two of them casually strolled around the plaza. There were no more surprising cosplayers.

Speaking of which, Marin's cosplay quality was indeed excellent, no wonder she was highly regarded by Sajuna.

Sajuna said she just wanted to wear Wakana's clothes; wasn't that a form of tsundere?

"Sajuna."

"Mm."

"How about we take a picture together?"

"Eh?!"

Akira said, gently putting an arm around Sajuna's shoulder, lowering his body slightly.

The bulky camera hung around his neck, but it wasn't in the frame.

Akira adjusted his phone camera, looking at the somewhat flustered Sajuna on the screen, a happy smile on his face.

"Take off your mask."

"Oh, oh, oh."

Sajuna fumbled to remove her mask, her eyes darting nervously toward the phone camera.

Aki-Kun really does things so suddenly.

Her hands unconsciously clasped together, fingers intertwined, like she was playing a puzzle game.

"Smile, smile."

Akira said to the camera, "I'm going to take it."

"I like Sajuna the most."

Sajuna smiled, looking at Akira, who had suddenly said such a thing, with a soft, slightly surprised expression.

Click!

The sound of the camera taking a picture reached her ears, and Sajuna quickly looked back at the phone.

Akira put away his phone, glanced at it, then happily handed it to Sajuna.

"Sajuna, don't be so nervous; you look really good when you smile."

Her nervousness wasn't because she was afraid the photo wouldn't look good.

Sajuna thought to herself as she took the phone, seeing the two of them leaning together in the album, their faces full of happiness, her heart was instantly filled with joy.

Aki-Kun also looks really good when he smiles.

Sajuna thought to herself, why do I smile so exaggeratedly!

What she didn't realize was that the smile on Sajuna's face now was clearly more exaggerated and even cuter than in the photo.

"Send me the photo."

Akira took the phone, casually set the screen saver, then opened Line, selected the photo, and sent it.

Ding.

Sajuna pulled out her phone and glanced at it, then hesitated.

"You should set it as your screen saver too," Akira suggested. "That way we can see our happiness at a glance."

Their happiness.

It was so easily achieved.
