"Ratler," Vinegar called without turning.
The man wobbled in a hurry to the makeshift work table.
And then he threw her gloves. Without looking back, she caught them.
And then Ratler threw the grappling rig and even a bag.
Vinegar caught all these things without looking back.
Some of them seemed like they would smack her head, but just before impact, her hand would move to grab it.
But more impressively, to grab it in such a way that did not break the item or wound her.
It was like catching a flying, spinning mug by the handle 100% of the time.
"Amazing," he complimented.
She raised a brow at him. "Oh, that's nothing. Just basic Blackfield. Everyone can do that."
"But none better than my pumpkin pie." Ratler pulled against her chin.
