Five hours after that incident, Suho went to Lucas. Upon arriving, Lucas suddenly spoke to him.
*Lucas:* "Suho, I have bad news. No one wants to sell us food for the winter. The House of Phiro, led by Count Ryan, is the only one willing to sell, but at triple the price. Our budget won't cover it. We might not survive the winter."
Suho fell into thought. _In his mind:_ _This could work in my favor. I'll offer Count Ryan a big deal and drain all his wealth._ Suho smiled wickedly.
Lucas's face turned grim as he looked at Suho. *"What are you planning, Suho?"*
Suho met his gaze. *"I'll go to Count Ryan's place and negotiate with him."*
*Lucas:* "It's hard to pull off. Count Ryan won't yield to one conversation. He's a cunning man."
*Suho:* "I have a plan. Leave it to me. Tomorrow, I'll go see him."
After their talk, Suho ordered Kite to gather information about Count Ryan—anything usable in their meeting. Kite roamed the town until he ended up at an adventurers' tavern. Sitting there, he overheard rumors: *the Count of Phiro has a mistress, said to be the wife of their Knights' captain, and Count Ryan's wife doesn't know.* The *Count's wife holds real power because her father was the previous Count of Phiro. Count Ryan only has the title because of her.*
_"Shh, someone might hear. That's big news—you could lose your head."_
Kite immediately reported everything to Suho.
*Suho (evil smile):* "So that's it, Kite. Tomorrow, go to the Knights' captain's wife's house. Use this magic crystal—record the situation when Count Ryan is there. I'll follow the day after. Report to me
And then the night ended, and dawn broke. Suho dressed up and summoned Lex to accompany him to the town of Count Ryan. As they were traveling, a woman screamed. HELP!!! Suho immediately rushed to the woman and saved her while Lex helped the woman's other companions fight the other monsters. After that incident, the woman and her companions were extremely grateful and introduced themselves. They were adventurers heading to a dungeon, not expecting to encounter so many monsters, as it seemed like the monsters were crossing the border more frequently.
After their introductions, Suho and Lex continued their journey until nightfall. While Lex prepared their sleeping arrangements and Suho cooked, the scene shifted to Kite. Kite was watching Count Ryan's mistress as ordered by Suho. While the Knights' captain was in a battle, Count Ryan suddenly interrupted him and went to his mistress's house. Kite witnessed everything and recorded it all, from Count Ryan entering the captain's wife's house, until they slept together, and Count Ryan left. The scene then shifted back to Suho and Lex. As Lex finished preparing their sleeping place, Suho called out to him. "Lex, come eat first. It can wait."
As they sat and ate, the two talked, with Suho sharing everything that happened to him in the other world: how he grew up, the life in their world, and how he became a failure who almost graduated. Amidst their conversation, Suho fell asleep, carrying the thought that on Earth, he was a failure and a loser. At first, he thought his life would be the same in this other world, but everything changed when Eve came to him. As Suho remembered everything, he suddenly fell asleep..
