Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Bored God’s Entertainment

Darkness.

That was the first thing I experienced after dying — an endless void, weightless and silent. No heartbeat, no breath, no body. Just the lingering thought that I had once existed.

Then a voice echoed through the emptiness — ancient, amused, and frighteningly casual.

"Well now… aren't you a lucky little soul?"

Light flared, and a figure formed before me — neither man nor woman, and yet somehow both. Their eyes held galaxies, spinning lazily as if the universe itself bored them.

"Wh–who are you?" I managed, though I wasn't sure I had a mouth.

The being grinned. "I? I am everything. Creation, destruction, inspiration… and boredom incarnate." They leaned closer, smirking. "But for simplicity, call me God."

Of course. I die — and meet a God with a mischief problem.

"You see," God continued, swirling stars around their fingers, "eternity gets dreadfully dull. So I enjoy… experiments." They flicked their hand, and a golden panel appeared before me.

"To make things interesting, I'm reincarnating you into another world…" God paused for dramatic effect, eyes sparkling with glee. "The Harry Potter universe."

Time stopped. My nonexistent heart skipped.

Harry. Potter.

Magic. Hogwarts. Spells. Myth.

This was every fantasy lover's dream.

"You may assign your talents freely," God said. "Choose wisely — some paths are darker than others."

Talents began appearing in cascading lists, glowing brightly:

God chuckled. "Oh, I'm quite excited to see how you turn out…"

"Bloodlines," I said quickly. "There was a menu for those."

"Ah yes." Another swipe conjured an illuminated grimoire.

House names shimmered: Gryffindor. Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff. Slytherin.

But another name drew my gaze like a magnet: Black — one of the most ancient pure-blood families.

"I choose Salazar Slytherin's bloodline," I said. "And— Black. A mix."

God's eyes widened with wicked joy. "Cunning, ambitious, and noble in reputation… but also dangerously powerful. Parseltongue included, of course."

"And… appearance?" I asked suspiciously.

God smiled like a fox who just stole a henhouse.

"Oh, that? I'm reincarnating you as a stunningly, sinfully attractive girl. Because it amuses me." They winked. "Besides… imagine the chaos."

"Wait— a girl?!"

Before I could protest, God snapped their fingers.

"Have fun."

Reality shattered.

Light engulfed me, and sensation surged back — a heartbeat, air, warmth… a tiny body wiggling beneath blankets. Instinctively, I whimpered.

Voices drifted around me:

"She's beautiful…""Our perfect little daughter…""A true Black… and a gift to the future…"

I tried to speak, but only baby noises escaped. My vision blurred, yet I could make out elegant robes… the regal crest of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.

I was alive. Reborn.

And somewhere deep in my blood, power stirred — vast, hungry, unmatched.

The greatest witch in history had just taken her first breath.
