Chapter 53 - Chapter 53 One Fatal Blow

"Litt...Boss, ch...check." Having finished five Rou Jia Mo, Ha Ga turned to Amy, grinning sheepishly and holding up two fingers. "Two...people."

"Big brother, are you going to pay for me today?" Ha Beng's eyes lit up, looking at Ha Ga with some surprise, secretly pleased. His big brother had finally come to his senses and returned to his usual honest and simple self.

Ha Ga nodded with a sheepish smile.

"Twelve Rou Jia Mo, that's...36 gold coins." Amy walked over, also a little surprised, and asked, "Big Goofball, are you paying today?"

"Deduct...deduct from the form one." Ha Ga nodded with a sheepish grin.

"Oh." Amy nodded, then sighed softly as she turned away, muttering to herself, "Sigh, money is so hard to come by. When will it all be deducted? I really want to count the money…"

"Big brother, you really are still my good big brother." Ha Beng patted Ha Ga on the shoulder happily. The eighteen gold coins weren't the key point; it was this change that made him happy.

Ha Ga chuckled and nodded, pulling the crowdfunding coupon from his pocket and placing it on the table. He said in Orcish language, "I'm going back to the tribe. I'm leaving today. This coupon is for you; you can use the rest as you like, consider it your own money."

"I bought...no, didn't you borrow money from me to buy this? We've eaten several meals together these past few days, and now it's all my money again? Was that meal my treat, or yours?" Ha Beng looked at Ha Ga, completely bewildered. The big brother image he had just rebuilt was crumbling again.

"Consider it my treat. It's deducted from my coupon, isn't it?" Ha Ga thought for a moment and nodded.

"Okay, let's not talk about that for now. But why are you going back to the tribe today, big brother? We were supposed to go out to buy things for a month, right? We haven't bought everything yet, and the weapons haven't been finished. What are we going back for?" Ha Beng waved his hand, looking at Ha Ga with a puzzled expression.

"The Stone Rock Tribe and our tribe have clashed again over the gold mine. A small battle took place the day before yesterday, and two of our warriors died. They also seized the small gold mine. Father told me to rush back and lead the tribe's warriors to reclaim the gold mine and avenge our fallen brothers." Ha Ga's expression turned serious, his smile vanished, and for the first time, he displayed the dignity of an orc warrior.

"Those bastards from Stone Rock Tribe are back again. Looks like the lesson we taught them last year wasn't enough. Big brother, let me go back and teach them a good lesson." Ha Beng clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking, and veins bulging on his forehead.

"No, you have to stay this time. Weapons are the most important thing for our tribe's warriors. You must safely transport them all back to the tribe." Ha Ga shook his head, patted Ha Beng's shoulder, and said with concern, "Besides, your back injury from last year hasn't healed yet. Rest for a while before going into battle."

"I'm completely healed. I can smash those guys' heads with one blow. You don't believe me? Look…" Ha Beng stood up, wanting to demonstrate to Ha Ga.

"Father said Marcus is leading the team this time. You're no match for him. Besides, I want to kill him myself." Ha Ga's face turned cold. He clenched his fist, then slowly relaxed it, patted Ha Beng's shoulder, picked up the spiked club beside him, and walked out.

Upon hearing the name, Ha Beng's expression became somewhat complicated. He stood up and looked at Ha Ga's retreating figure, saying, "Big brother, then I'll go back with you."

"No need, just buy everything that need. I'll be back in a few days. The food in Boss Mai's restaurant is so delicious." Ha Ga shook his head, turned back to Amy with a simple smile, and said, "Goodbye... Little Boss."

"Goodbye, Big Goofball." Amy waved, then slipped under the high stool to whisper to Big Egg.

"Marcus, that damned guy, dared to invade our tribe again! He deserves to die!" Ha Beng gritted his teeth, watching Ha Ga's figure disappear through the doorway before reluctantly sitting back down.

"Tribal conflict?" Mai Ge glanced back at Ha Beng. The original owner knew Orcish language; since human and Orcish territories bordered each other, most of his past achievements came from Orcs, so he could understand Orcish language and communicate in simple terms.

As for Elvish language, that was even more natural. Otherwise, how had he managed to win over that Elven princess?

Although he was a little curious, Mai Ge didn't intend to ask. He wouldn't ask about personal matters unless the guest wanted to confide in him; that wasn't his personality.

"Boss Mai, another serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice, please. I want to calm down with some food." Ha Beng said to Mai Ge after sitting silently for a while.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge replied, quickly making a serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice and gently placing it in front of Ha Beng.

"Boss Mai, if there was a guy who used to be your brother, and then he accidentally killed the woman you loved most, wouldn't you say that guy should die?" Ha Beng picked up his spoon, then put it down again, looking up at Mai Ge as he asked.

"Perhaps." Mai Ge nodded slightly. Even Ha Ga himself probably didn't know how to handle this situation.

"Grace is my big brother's fiancée. They grew up together, childhood sweethearts. Marcus is from the Stone Rock Tribe, the same age as my brother. Back then, our tribe hadn't discovered gold mines yet, and we were practically brother tribes. The kids played together. My big brother and Marcus were the leaders of the kids from our respective tribes, often leading them in fights. They were evenly matched, and over time, they became good brothers.

Later, our tribe discovered gold mines. The previously poor tribe suddenly became wealthy, and everything changed. The Stone Rock Tribe wanted a share. My father initially agreed to give them one or two small gold mines to help them escape hunger. But they made excessive demands, they wanted half the gold mine of our tribe and specifically the largest one. Our tribe naturally couldn't agree, and we wouldn't give them the smaller mine either. Thus began a conflict between the two tribes that lasted for over a decade, resulting in deaths on both sides.

During one of these conflicts, my big brother and Marcus met. Both were the strongest young warriors of their respective tribes, and they have never had a clear winner since childhood. That battle was no exception. However, in the end, the Stone Rock Tribe used a trick and threw a stone knife at Marcus. Grace, in a panic, rushed in and took the blow for my big brother. " Ha Beng paused, then sighed, "Actually, I saw it. Marcus tried to throw the knife aside, but Grace ran into it herself, and it was fatal."
