Alexander's POV
I had a very stressful day and I had lost a very important deal the last thing I expected was to hit someone with my car. I know it wasn't my fault I mean who crosses the road when it's not the pedestrians turn to cross. She must be a crazy woman, a beautiful crazy woman no less.
I was still at the hospital , staring at her, she was pretty ,had a smooth skin ,soft curved facial structure,high cheek bones and full lips. She was African-American and she was a definition of true beauty.
Since I had to leave I took her phone and dialled in last number On her call history. I told them to come to the hospital ,I waited for a while until the person I've called came to the hospital. I left my phone number for the patient , Took one more look at the patient before I left.
William Alexander Lightwood is my name, Till we met again later.
Ethan was surprised to receive a call telling him the owner of the phone was at the hospital and that he had to rush there. It had been a month and all this time he had been trying to find Maya he had thought that after their first meeting she would call him guess he was wrong. It wasn't until that's same day when he came across her application letter and CV at his workplace that he got to know her phone number but earlier when he tried to call her the call got disconnected.
He was now in the hospital room with Maya and she wasn't the same girl he had met before .Moreover the doctor mentioned things like depression, anxiety and malnutrition and that the patient needed to be taken care of .He was worried sick about her ,It's true they were not close but all his saw when looking at her was a little sister and sister he wanted to protect.
It was around 8 in the evening when Maya opened her eyes She wasn't expecting the first person to see there to be Ethan not that she was expecting anyone anyways.
Blinking twice she called out his name "Ethan"
"Wow, You look like something the cat dragged in ,not that theer are cats in this building but it's good to know you still remember me after blowing me off for a whole month."
"I'm sorry I just didn't think it was a good idea for me to call you ,we had just met"
" As hurtful as that sounds forget it ,how are you doing"
" I'm doing okay Can't complain I guess"
" But you should ,you are alive I can see that but you're far from being okay. The doctor told me about your condition ,Maya you can trust me and you can tell me anything that's going on in your life. I know we're not acquainted with each other but all that is going to change as you are coming to live with me."
"What? Ethan,no"
"Too bad I'm not taking no for an answer,you are coming with me and that's final. By the way this is for you" He said lending her a letter "The handsome guy who hit you in his car said to give this to you"
It was a note from Alexander where he was apologising for what had happened And it has a phone number Which she was to call If she needed compensation for what had happened.
Maya spent two days at the hospital she had told Ethan everything about herself and how she was in this situation she was in now. He had gone to her apartment to get her clothes when he accidentally stumbled upon her designs he had seen nothing like it before. They were unique and Flawless still he wondered how such a talented person was still unemployed.
Being discharged from the hospital Maya walked out with Ethan by her side ,he led her to his car a black Mercedes AMG GT63.The drive to his house was filled with laughter and small chats one could swear they had known each other for a very long time.
As they pulled to the driveway of his mansion Maya couldn't help but love it. The facade was made of elegant white stones, with incricale carving and ornate details that called the sunlight. The large Windows were ardoned with beautifully crafted wooden shutters and the entrance was marked by a majestic Stone Archway.A sweeping driveway curved up to the front door, lined with lush greenery and vibrant flowers.
The interior was something else on its own. Upon entering the mansion Maya was greeted by a spacious foyer with soaring ceiling and stunning chandelier. It was a masterful blend of classic Elegance and modern sophistication with marble floor and wood panelling and plush carpet .The living area was filled with natural light pouring in through the large windows. The kitchen was a culinary dream, equipped with top of the line appliances and ample space for food preparation.
Maya was escorted to her room which was a serene retreat with plush bedding, walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom . Everything in the room room was either black ,grey or white, Ethan had prepared everything for her in advance.
