"Okay.... And then what happened?" Elini excitedly questioned Irida on the phone
She was so curious that she felt like flying to London to hear the gossip real time
"I uh.. I stopped him" Irida felt embarrassed as she whispered
"You what now?" Elini yelled
Elini noticed the stares of people and quickly reduced her voice "why?"
Elini went to the counter and quickly paid for her food before walking out, Elini quickly found a secluded spot to sit
"I... I .. well I wasn't ready" Irida admitted
She was really embarrassed to tell Elini that she chickened out last minute
"Why? How could you not be ready? You've liked Ian for like half of your life, I mean the day Ian asked you to be his girlfriend I knew how excited you were, you couldn't even sleep. And when you guys had your first kiss you, you bragged about it so much that my ear gree callouses and I was almost tempted to strangle you" Elini felt genuinely confused. If she had a chance to be intimate with Theodore she knew she'd hold that opportunity tightly and utilize it properly
"I.... Uh" Irida felt really guilty and stupid right now. She didn't know why she was scared, Elini was right, Ian was the person Irida loved so she shouldn't be scared of intimacy
"You know what forget it, you don't need to feel guilty" Elini quickly comforted Irida "I know you were nervous at that time. I'd be nervous in that situation too. I mean it's your first time, don't dwell on it too much okay, just let nature take it's course"
"Hmm okay"
"Good girl. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, Theodore finally asked me to be his girlfriend" Elini quickly changed the subject, she didn't want Irida to continue thinking about it
"Huh?" Irida was shocked, her bloke of a brother who always acted like the world owes him money could actually have feelings? Irida couldn't believe it at all "Elle are you being delusional again?"
"Tch" Elini scoffed "I'm your best friend you idiot, don't say things that'd hurt my feelings"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Irida quickly apologized "so when did Theodore ask you?"
"He came home two days ago and officially asked me to be his girlfriend" Elini bragged excitedly "we're going on our first date later today, oh I'm so excited I don't even know what to wear"
"Awwn, Elle I'm so happy for you" Irida was genuinely happy that her best friend could get her lifelong wish
"I'm gonna be your sister in law" Elini stated proudly "we're gonna be sisters forever, you can't get rid of me"
"You guys just started dating" Irida was speechless at Elini's shamelessness
"And?" Elini's voice got cold
"Forget it, I don't wanna piss my sister in law off anymore, what if you make Theodore stop sending allowance" Irida joked
Hearing the door open, Irida saw Ian walking in "Ian is back, I'll talk to you later okay?"
"Okay then, try not to dwell on it okay, things like that happen naturally" Elini stood up from where she sat and started walking home
"I know, thank you Elle" Irida was truly grateful to Elini
"You're welcome. Bye.... Gotta go prepare for my date" Elini ended the call and skipped home happily, occasionally giggling to herself.
She and Theodore were finally together and nothing was going to take her Theodore from her

"Sir..... Sir" the secretary called again again as she knocked on the table lightly
"Hmmm" Pierre replied softly, a sigh from his lips as his face returned back to it's calm and cold expression
"Sir, the designers have arrived and they're waiting in the design room on the third floor" the secretary reported respectfully
'Tch, although the boss was young and really handsome, he was always cold and so serious, nobody would be interested in someone who always acts like the whole owed him a billion pounds' the secretary thought to herself
"And your mom called the office twice today, she said she couldn't reach you"
"Are all ten of the designers there yet?" Pierre asked as he raised his head slightly, he briefly glanced at his secretary before continuing to go through the document in front of him
"Eight of them are here already sir, one called that he was still stuck in traffic and the last one said she was almost here" Grace said
"I'll give a ten minute grace to all of them" Pierre said as he flipped the document "call me after ten minutes, and as for my mom, if she calls again tell her I'd call her at night"
"Okay sir"
A few seconds later, Pierre raised his head and looked at his secretary coldly "Grace do I have to specially inform you to get out of my office?"
"No sir, sorry boss" Grace apologized and quickly left
