Chapter 4 - Interface

Ragna thought the previous owner of the body lived quite a pitiful life; however, that was it, for some reason, he didn't have any particular emotion towards the life the previous owner had lived.

Maybe because he had seen worse and had grown accustomed to such cruelty of the world because of the way he lived in his original world, rather he thought there was more pressing issue at hand, which was because of the suicide the previous Ragna had committed, his body was now in an halfdead state.

Being in an extremely poor condition, Ragna thought if he didn't do anything he was going to die for the third time. Although he was a bloodknight and could regenerate from grievous wounds, that was in his original world.

Instead, right now he was weak and powerless and was losing blood, and it was barely a matter of time before he died again. Ragna calmed himself down, as he tried to think of a way out of the situation.

He had been a bloodknight for centuries and had suffered far more gracious wounds, so this was nothing the only problem he had was that they were different bodies, his main body was genetically enhanced by the 3rd progenitor of vampires.

His memories were still a mess, as he tried to recall the techniques he used in his original world as a bloodknight, he was currently dying and the only way to save himself was by turning himself again into a bloodknight.

Just as he was thinking, suddenly a glowing line of blue text and panel appeared before his eyes

[ Ding, Conditions met. Bloodknight techniques has been restored]

Ragna's eyes widened in amazement when he saw those words, while he might not understand why those words were in that form instead of being in his mind, he was still happy nonetheless.

Because with this technique he could use the blood that was wasting away to heal himself.

[The bloodknight techniques allows the host to go through a transformation to become a bloodknight]

[Activate bloodknight techniques to begin evolution to a bloodknight]

[Bloodknight techniques has been activated, host will now begin body modification and evolution]

Ragna had barely gone through the messages in front of him, when he noticed his eyes were becoming heavy and his eyes immediately darkened.

Inside a five meter deep pit filled with sand and gravel, a teenager within the age of 16 to 17years laid inside lifelessly.

He seemed like he was both dead and currently in deep sleep as his body would fidget, and his eyes trembled slightly from time to time like something was making him feel uncomfortable.

[Bloodknight evolution in host - 24%]

[Host has received the blessing of Vampirism]

Few hours later

...[Completion of Bloodknight evolution in Host - 100%]

[Host has successfully gone through modification and evolution]

The moment Ragna woke up, the first thing he saw were the messages in front of him indicating the modification and evolution had been a success.

[Host has successfully mastered the bloodknight techniques]

[Host has successfully become a bloodknight]

Ragna furrowed his brows as he organized his thoughts. First of all he was happy he had been able to become a bloodknight, meaning he was no longer dying.

However, there were several irregularities.

The first was why did he come to this world, and how was he able to transmigrate his bloodknight powers with him. Secondly, with everything that had occurred so far, he didn't die like he thought in his original world rather he had been reborn in another world, meaning he had to treat this world as his new reality.

Thirdly, what was this interface in front of him?

So far it seemed like a sentient being but doesn't seem to cause him any harm. Lastly, and more importantly he needed to get out of the pit, since he was half buried in it!

Although Ragna was confused, he was still aware his current body was that of a teenager, or at least that was what it seemed on the surface since he had the mind of someone who had lived for centuries.

He still needed to return to the previous Ragna's home, and reorganize himself since he still needed to understand how this world works.

Even though the previous Ragna had a bit of knowledge of this world, it was from the view point of someone at the bottom of the hierarchy. And could not bank on it.

A single misinformation could prove fatal, although he had become a bloodknight he was not as strong as he was in his original world, any strong bloodline user in this world could easily kill him.

He had just been reborn, and didn't want to die immediately afterwards, he had been given a second chance at life and he intend on using it properly!
