Chapter 2 - Mew & Contract.

"Mew..."

The little creature hovered before Naruto, her soft pink aura shimmering faintly beneath the moonlight. Then, with a quiet, affectionate hum, she leaned forward and pressed a tiny kiss onto his forehead.

A warm light flared instantly, spreading outward like ripples over still water. A glowing emblem—intricate and ancient—formed where her lips had touched, pulsing softly with ethereal energy.

Naruto blinked in confusion as a faint voice echoed inside his mind, calm and melodic, yet vast like it came from another world.

[A permanent contract has been established.]

[Would host like to agree, to complete the term?]

[Yes] [No]

Naruto stared at the floating symbols shimmering before his eyes. He could feel them—not just see them. The light resonated deep within his chest, syncing with the steady beat of his heart.

"Mew~ Mew."

The small creature floated closer again, circling him playfully. Her large blue eyes gleamed with emotion, her voice ringing in the air like crystal chimes. She wasn't speaking words—not really—but Naruto understood her all the same. A strange warmth surged within Naruto heart, after all this time, it was the first time someone said they would like to stay by his side.

He tilted his head slightly, smiling faintly. "Hmm... you're saying you want to stay with me forever, right? That's what this is about?"

Mew nodded eagerly, her tail swaying like a ribbon of starlight. Her eyes sparkled with joy and something deeper—trust.

Naruto felt warmth bloom in his chest. "Heh... of course I want that too. You're my first real friend from this world or… maybe another." His grin widened, that same mischievous brightness returning to his eyes. "Let's do this together, Mew." He spoke with a similar grin that he always had on his lips.

Without hesitation, he reached forward and chose [Yes].

The air trembled.

A surge of light enveloped both of them—pink and gold energy intertwining, wrapping around Naruto like the embrace of something divine. For a heartbeat, the forest fell utterly silent. At this moment, no one knew that something very big was happening in the Shinobi world.

Then—

[Contract Complete.]

[Summoned Entity: Mew—Status Upgraded.]

[Level 5 → Level 10.]

[Synchronization: 12%. Partial psychic link established.]

The glow faded slowly, leaving faint motes of light drifting through the air. Mew floated gently back, her body now shining with a deeper radiance. Her once faint aura pulsed like a heartbeat—steady, alive, and connected to Naruto's own chakra flow.

Naruto staggered slightly, gripping his forehead. His vision flashed with symbols, diagrams, and strange, glowing words—fragments of knowledge that weren't his yet felt oddly familiar.

Images of other realms, different creatures, and systems of summoning that existed beyond chakra flashed through his mind—an entire structure of energy manipulation and spiritual bonding, older than the shinobi arts themselves.

He gasped softly. "This... this isn't just ninjutsu..."

It was like two worlds—the shinobi world and another universe entirely—had overlapped within his soul. The system within him responded, linking to the very essence of this being called Mew.

For the first time in his life, Naruto felt a complete clarity inside his mind. The noise of doubt, loneliness, and anger faded—replaced by calm, purpose, and understanding.

It wasn't just power flowing into him. It was knowledge—a sense of what Mew truly was. A creature of emotion and will, a being capable of bending reality through sheer psychic force. A being from a universe far beyond chakra and hand seals—yet now, a part of him.

Mew's soft coo brought him back.

While Pokemon abilities were different in this world. So, blend in with the rule of this world. the system adapted the Pokémon energy style to suit it with this world.

"Mew~"

She floated down and rested lightly on Naruto's shoulder, tail curling gently around his neck once more. Her warmth radiated through him, gentle and reassuring.

Naruto smiled, eyes bright and filled with newfound resolve. "I don't really get all of this yet… but I'm glad you're here, Mew. Let's show everyone what we can do—together."

The wind brushed through the trees, carrying the faint scent of rain and earth. In that quiet, moonlit clearing, something unseen stirred—a contract of two worlds, sealed not by chakra or blood, but by heart and will.

And in the depths of Konoha, far away in his office, the Third Hokage watched the fading light through his crystal ball.

His expression was unreadable—awe, confusion, and pride blending together.

The forest had fallen still again. The moon hung high, its pale light filtering through the leaves, soft and cold against the earth. The chaos had settled, replaced by the sound of slow, uneven breathing and the quiet hum of chakra fading into calm.

Naruto turned, his chest still rising and falling with the remnants of adrenaline. His eyes landed on the figure slumped near the roots of a tree—Iruka-sensei, battered but alive, watching him with that same gentle smile Naruto had known since the academy.

"Iruka-sensei..." Naruto's voice trembled as he ran toward him, clutching the scroll tighter. The weight of everything that had just happened pressed on his shoulders—the summoning, the light, the battle. But seeing Iruka smile made it all blur into something else: relief.

Iruka looked up, his eyes soft even through the fatigue. "Naruto! I'm alright," he said, forcing a small laugh. "You did well… my boy."

Naruto knelt beside him, face scrunched with worry. "But your wounds—"

Before he could finish, a soft pink glow illuminated the clearing.

Mew floated silently beside them, her eyes filled with gentle concern. She looked between Naruto and Iruka, sensing instantly the bond they shared—the warmth, the affection, and the pain behind it.

Her small paw lifted, shimmering with psychic light.

"Mew~ Mew."

A pulse of energy radiated from her palm, wrapping Iruka in waves of soft, white light. The glow spread through his body, knitting torn skin, closing wounds, and soothing the pain that ran through his chakra network.

Naruto's eyes widened as he watched. "Mew… you're healing him?"

Mew gave a small twirl in the air and chirped happily.

Iruka blinked, feeling the warmth seep into his bones. He looked down at his arms, his breath catching as the cuts and bruises faded before his eyes. The ache in his muscles dulled, replaced by a soothing calm.

"Mew~," the little creature chimed again, her voice like a bell on the wind.

Naruto grinned so wide it almost hurt. "Thank you, Mew!" He reached up and patted her tiny head, and she leaned into his hand with a delighted coo.

Up in the Hokage's office, Sarutobi Hiruzen had been watching the entire scene unfold through his crystal ball. The smoke from his pipe hung in the air, forgotten, as his sharp old eyes followed the little creature's every movement.

"That technique… and its healing ability…" he murmured, tapping a finger against the desk.

Beside him, a figure stepped forward from the shadows—silver hair, half-lidded eyes, and a calm aura that seemed to blend into the dim candlelight.

"Kakashi," Sarutobi said quietly, turning toward him. "Make sure no one learns of what happened here. Bring the three of them—Naruto, Iruka, and that creature—back to the village. Quietly."

His tone was calm but heavy, the kind of weight only a Hokage's command carried.

"Yes, Hokage-sama."

Kakashi's visible eye softened slightly as he looked into the crystal ball. The corners of his lips lifted in a faint smile—one filled with nostalgia and something deeper, almost aching.

"Minato-sensei's son…" he murmured under his breath. "You really are full of surprises, aren't you?"

He gave a quiet chuckle, though it was mixed with awe. "A summoning from another world... just like him—unpredictable to the end."

Down below, Iruka had stood up, one arm wrapped around Naruto's shoulders for balance. The boy was practically glowing—not from chakra, but from pride. The new headband tied around his forehead shimmered faintly under the moonlight, symbolizing the start of everything he had always dreamed of.

Mew hovered above them, humming softly as if blessing the moment.

But suddenly, she froze midair.

Her eyes flicked sharply toward the treeline, pupils narrowing.

The atmosphere shifted.

Naruto blinked, confused. "Mew?"

Iruka straightened instinctively, his hand twitching toward his kunai pouch—though the exhaustion in his body still lingered. He hadn't sensed anything. No movement, no chakra signature. But Mew's body language told another story entirely.

Without warning, the small creature floated ahead of Naruto and Iruka, her aura flaring just slightly—enough to ripple the grass beneath her.

From the shadows, a quiet presence approached. The soundless step of someone who'd long since mastered the art of invisibility.

Then he appeared—Kakashi Hatake, mask over his face, single eye glinting faintly in the dark.

Mew's tail flicked once, her aura building like a protective bubble.

The air shimmered with tension.

She could sense him—the silent, predatory calm, the subtle chakra signature that even most jonin would miss. Her instincts screamed threat, though her logic told her otherwise. She didn't fully understand this world or its people yet.

But she understood one thing: this man was strong.

Mew floated in front of Naruto, her body tense, forming a psychic barrier between him and the newcomer. The seriousness in her expression made Naruto and Iruka both step back in surprise—it wasn't the same cheerful creature that had been playing moments ago.

Even Kakashi raised an eyebrow behind his mask. "Oh? She noticed me?"

A low whistle escaped him, impressed. "Not bad at all..."

He looked at the floating creature, calm but curious. "You're protecting him, aren't you?"

Mew tilted her head slightly, her psychic energy humming faintly—neither hostile nor relaxed. She didn't know who this person was, only that he carried strength that could threaten her master if things went wrong.

'Even if I can't defeat him,' her instincts whispered, 'I can still take Naruto and Iruka to safety.'

"Kakashi Hatake." Iruka spoke, knowing this white-haired ninja, who is also like a current super elite within their number. 'Copy ninja, Kakashi Hatake.'

Naruto stepped forward, gently raising his hand. "It's alright, Mew. He's not an enemy."

The little creature looked back at him, hesitation softening into trust. Slowly, her aura dimmed, though her tail still flicked with cautious rhythm.

Kakashi's visible eye curved in amusement. "Heh… already listens to you, huh? Seems like you've made quite a friend, Naruto."

Naruto grinned, rubbing the back of his neck. "Guess so. She's amazing, right?"

Mew gave a proud little chirp, puffing up slightly as if agreeing.

Kakashi chuckled softly, the faint moonlight catching in his silver hair.

""Amazing" doesn't even begin to cover it." He smiled, looking at Naruto proud look.

The wind rustled the leaves again, and for a brief moment, everything felt calm—the battle behind them, the mysteries ahead.

And beneath the silver glow of the moon, three figures stood together—a teacher, a boy, and a creature born from another world—watched silently by the shinobi who had once followed another blond man into legend.
