Water washed over Kenneth's head as he stared into the distance, both of his hands splayed flatly against the pebbled shower walls. Feeling the rough yet smooth texture of each individual pebble clustered together to form a mutual of stones beneath the pad of his fingertips was strangely grounding.
All he could hear was the sound of running water making contact with the brown, marbled tiles beneath the soles of his feet.
Taking showers always felt nice to Kenneth. He always preferred them over baths. His moistened lips parted as the pressure coming from the shower head increased. Water beaded over his lashes and his face while steam wafted around him as he inhaled a breath.
His shoulders tensed ever so slightly before relaxing again as he felt a light breeze graze his back followed by the sound of the glass shower doors clicking shut.
