Chapter 4 - Bloodline

Michael, deep in meditation, was wholly focused on his cultivation. His realm was steadily increasing.

He had already broken through to the early stage of the Warlord realm, and energy still remained, continuing to temper his body.

As the energy began to decrease, his realm broke through to the middle stage. With the last remnants of energy, his cultivation stabilized at the middle stage of the Warlord realm.

Michael opened his eyes, filled with joy. He could not be happier that, after his rebirth, he had saved himself fifteen years of arduous work.

In his last life, he had not been lucky enough to obtain a 10,000-year-old Willow Heart, which was itself a rare natural treasure, not found in every place.

Michael looked at his body, which felt immensely strong. With the help of this new realm, he could now seek out opportunities beyond the information provided by the system.

As he was reborn, he knew of several important relics that would appear soon, and he could avoid the long, circuitous route he had taken last time.

Michael glanced at his watch and saw that it had taken him seven days to digest such a vast amount of energy.

Just as his realm broke through to the Warlord realm, the system's voice sounded again.

[Host has broken through to the Warlord realm. The host will now receive information corresponding to their current realm. The present primary target for the host is to break through to the peak of the Star Realm.]

[Current intelligence information will focus on increasing strength, with other information provided if important.]

[The number of available intelligence reports has increased to two.]

[Information 1: In 2 days, 100 km northeast of here, a Bloomberry fruit will ripen. It must be plucked before a mutated tiger beast of the Warlord realm eats it.]

[Information 2: In 2 months, a new inheritance space will open at 11:50 PM, midnight. It will remain unnoticed for the first 20 days after opening, as the spatial fluctuations will be minimal.

The inheritance contains 20 drops of dragon blood, which can help the host activate a certain portion of their bloodline. Location: 150 km from Ravine City.]

Michael looked at the first piece of information, which was quite good. The Bloomberry fruit could help enhance his mental strength, which was essential for realms above the Warlord.

But the second piece of information brought him sudden happiness he didn't know how to express, as he understood precisely what this valuable intelligence meant for his life.

Considering the time and place of the second information, Michael recalled that he had never heard of this inheritance ruin in his previous life. It might have been suppressed by the Federation to keep it secret for their own geniuses.

Thinking about how the Federation only valued geniuses who could increase the core strength of Blue Star, it would not be surprising if they had kept this matter from the public.

Michael set aside his thoughts about the inheritance for now and shifted his focus to the first piece of information, where a Warlord realm beast would be waiting to eat the fruit.

A fight to obtain the Bloomberry fruit was inevitable.

Looking at the space ring he hadn't yet checked, Michael put his spiritual mark on it. Since the previous owner was dead, it was easy for him to claim.

When he opened the space ring, he found only a few items, fewer than he had expected. It felt as if this ring was a spare, or perhaps the owner had used it only for important things.

The contents included a set of body armor, whose level he could only determine upon inspection, and a few bottles that might contain something related to cultivation, though he couldn't be sure.

There was also a piece of beast leather. Looking closely, he saw a map drawn on it, but he couldn't be sure of the location, as it might have been from another spatial battlefield area.

Michael took out the body armor for a closer look. It was D-level body armor, but to his surprise, it was designed for a human body, not for the Ape race.

"What the hell did this Ape do? The more I look at this space ring, the more it feels like it belonged to a human. Did he kill a human to get it?"

Nevertheless, the armor was quite helpful for him at this point, as D-level armor could withstand the strength of a late-stage Warlord realm beast, which might aid him in his fight.

But his priority was to get used to his new strength. While his soul power was already above the Warlord level, his body needed to gain basic mastery over its movement.

Basic mastery of body movement was an entry-level skill, where a warrior learned a movement technique to assist during combat.

Michael practiced the Nine-Stage Thunder Sword Body Technique, which primarily focused on sword technique but included explosive movement segments combined with sword attacks.

The Nine-Stage Thunder Sword Body utilized powerful leg muscles and internal energy to create sudden, explosive bursts of speed.

This was a technique Michael had acquired in his previous life when he entered an inheritance relic on another battlefield. It had also helped him break through to the Planetary Realm, the realm above Warlord. The realms above are the Planetary Realm, Star Realm, Galactic Realm, Domain Realm, World Master, and so on.

There are realms above World Master, but according to the spirit of the relic, it was unwise to think too far above one's current realm. The universe was vast, and trying to know everything at an early stage could bring more harm than good.

According to the relic spirit, the human race was not to be trifled with by other races. There were powerful figures within humanity who stood behind the race, and there were many geniuses throughout the universe.

In his previous life, he had been unable to comprehend the Nine-Stage Thunder Sword Body Technique completely, as it was profoundly difficult. He had only managed to reach the third stage.
