Chapter 67 - Chapter 66: Fingerprinting? I'm good at this!

"Let go of Ayanokoji-kun! If you have the guts, come at me!!!"

Both Kushida and Ayanokoji looked towards the door.

Amane-san walked over aggressively.

"Amane-san? Why are you here? Wait, what are you going to do?"

Under Kushida's somewhat flustered gaze, Amane-san shielded Ayanokoji, then looked at Kushida with ill intent.

Then her hands directly pressed onto her.

This unexpected action left both Kushida and Ayanokoji stunned.

"I won't let you, Little Kikyo, bully Ayanokoji-kun like this. I will bear this sin!"

Amane-san spoke lines of unclear meaning.

But her hand movements didn't stop.

Hmm.

Kushida was a true powerhouse!

She was even stronger than Horikita by a whole level.

Her strength was comparable to Amane-san's own.

Opportunities like this were rare.

If she didn't seize the chance to experience it, who knew when the next time would be?

"Amane-san, what, what are you doing? Stop it! It's getting deformed!!! ...Um... Amane-san, can you please stop this?"

Kushida really couldn't stand Amane-san's skilled technique.

Damn it.

Why was she so good at this kind of thing?

"After all, it's a rare opportunity. Don't worry, I have experience."

This wasn't a matter of having experience or not!!!

Kushida wanted to break free.

But Amane-san, like a koala, hugged her from behind.

Wait.

Wouldn't this be even more embarrassing?

Ayanokoji's eyes went wide.

"Don't look! Ayanokoji, don't look!"

Kushida reprimanded loudly.

Ayanokoji could only reluctantly turn his back.

Speaking of which, Miyako-san seemed to be very skilled.

"Um... Hurry, let go, you... Um... If you keep doing this... Um, I'll, um, I'll call security."

Upon hearing "security," Amane-san reluctantly let go.

"I was just joking."

"Amane-san! That wasn't a joke! That was harassment! My clothes already have your fingerprints. If I report Amane-san to the school... what will happen to you?"

Amane-san's expression changed.

Kushida thought she had found Amane-san's weakness.

What if she used this as evidence to threaten Amane-san and Horikita to stop associating?

"Amane-san probably doesn't want to disappoint your family, right?"

Amane-san's face turned pale.

"Luckily, Little Kikyo, you reminded me, otherwise I almost caused big trouble."

Amane-san showed a hint of relief on her face.

Looking at what swayed with Amane-san's movements... for a moment, Kushida also had the urge to personally "teach" Amane-san a lesson.

However, that thought was immediately restrained by her reason.

"If you don't want your family or the school to know about this, then will you listen to me?"

Kushida took Amane-san's hand.

She leaned her entire body against Amane-san.

"No, no, no, Little Kikyo, you misunderstood. If you tell, you'll be in big trouble."

Amane-san poked Kushida's face with a finger.

"Huh? What trouble will I be in? I'm the victim here."

"But if my family finds out I'm neglecting my duties for pleasure, they'll definitely get rid of the 'thing'!".

What the hell is "neglecting duties for pleasure"?

Was her 'that' really a 'thing'?

And hearing that... it feels so embarrassing.

But what does 'clean up' mean?

"Sorry, I don't understand, Amane-san, what do you mean by 'clean up'?"

Kushida-san asked cautiously.

She felt that Amane's expression was somewhat subtle.

"When children play with toys too much, adults often choose to take the toys away. That's what I mean."

Amane's words didn't have any major issues.

The real problem was that Amane made a cutting gesture.

And her gaze was fixed on Kushida-san's... "Y-you can't scare me, Amane-san is probably just trying to intimidate me so I won't report her to the school, right?"

Kushida-san hugged her arms, feeling a bit guilty.

"What do you think?"

Amane pinched Kushida-san's chin.

Hehe.

A technique he saw in a manga, not bad.

It even looked a little cool.

Amane was mentally cheering wildly for his cool move.

On the surface, however, he maintained a cold demeanor.

"Amane-san, your family..."

"My old man is just a butler, nothing special."

Kushida-san instinctively felt that something wasn't quite right.

But before she could think, she was pecked.

"Miyako Amane!!! What did you do? That was my... Die, die, die!!!"

Kushida-san's sudden outburst of rage startled Amane.

"Ayanokoji, quickly help me, Little Kikyo is going to bite!"

Ayanokoji had just turned around when he saw Amane directly hide behind him.

Kushida-san, on the other hand, looked furious, glaring at both of them as if she had been played...

"I think..."

"Shut up."

...Ayanokoji was completely speechless.

If he had known things would turn out this way, he might as well have touched her a couple of times too.

Just as Kushida-san was about to explode, Amane's phone rang, interrupting Kushida-san's anger.

"Little Kikyo, wait a moment, I need to answer this call first."

Amane answered the phone.

It was Suzune calling.

"Where did you go to buy coffee?"

"I'm downstairs, I'll be right there."

"Downstairs? Are you sure? What a coincidence, I'm downstairs too. Amane, you've actually learned to lie to me."

"That's not what I meant, I really am..."

"Hey, hang up quickly."

"Suzune, you have to let me explain!"

"I don't want to either, but... boo hoo, I don't want to sleep alone, I don't want to, I don't want to."

Amane stamped her foot and pouted like a child.

Ayanokoji next to her was stunned.

"I told you to hang up!!"

"What's the rush? Don't you see I'm explaining to Suzune? You wait a bit."

"I didn't with other girls..."

"A letter of apology? Why would there be such a thing?"

"Are you done?"

Kushida-san asked softly, forcefully suppressing her inner anger.

"Please wait a little longer, Little Kikyo."

Amane said without looking back, then continued to haggle with Horikita-san over the word count of the apology letter.

"It seems Amane-san and Horikita-san are very close."

Ayanokoji rested his finger on his chin, observing for a long time before coming to this conclusion.

"Isn't that obvious? You can tell their relationship with just one glance."

Kushida-san retorted to Ayanokoji in an annoyed tone.

Ayanokoji scratched his head.

"Kushida-san, don't you think their relationship goes beyond the concept of friends?"

Ayanokoji hinted delicately.

"You mean... it shouldn't be that serious, right? Amane-san is a bit silly, but she doesn't seem like the type to be interested in girls in that way."

Kushida-san analyzed based on her previous understanding of Amane and came to a conclusion.

However, Ayanokoji looked at the spot where Amane had just left a handprint on Kushida-san.

Kushida-san's face flushed.

Could this Amane really be... if that's the case, wouldn't her proactively getting close be like a lamb entering a tiger's den?

Is such a great sacrifice for Horikita really worth it?

Amane hung up the phone with a look of dejection.

His gaze returned to Kushida-san, and he scratched his head sheepishly.

A slight blush appeared on his face, as if there were some embarrassing words he was too shy to say.

Kushida-san really wished he wouldn't say anything at all, if possible.

Alas, things rarely go as one wishes.

"Um... can I extend it for another ten minutes?"
