Agung Wibowo, a 35-year-old single otaku, finally opens his own quiet, family-style restaurant. His peaceful life is shattered when a voice—a self-proclaimed, cautious Djinn—declares his eatery the Overworld Restaurant, a dimensional nexus connecting him to the infinite fictional multiverse.
The Hub and the Rules
Every night, the restaurant transforms, allowing characters from anime, manga, and games to enter. The Djinn enforces strict temporal dilation: while Agung is open nightly, patrons can only access the hub once every seven days in their home timeline, making their visit a rare, essential escape.
Agung's new mission is to serve these otherworldly customers with comforting Earth dishes (primarily Indonesian specialties) or to replicate their native cuisine using Earth-styled ingredients.
His role quickly expands from chef to Multiverse Counselor, offering grounded advice to characters burdened by the intense plots of their home worlds. Payment for the meal is revealed psychically, ranging from local currency and rare items to a unique "intimate act" (if the patron is female). Crucially, Agung can also accept a recipe or a native ingredient as payment, expanding his interdimensional menu through culinary exchange.
