Evelin's POV
I watched as Grey seemed to finally grasp what Grace's bombshell pregnancy announcement truly meant.
Selina's voice dripped with mockery. "Oh, this is absolutely priceless. Congratulations, Grey. Looks like daddy duty's calling.
"When you and that shameless homewrecker finally tie the knot, don't forget my invitation. I'll bring you a gift you'll treasure forever."
Grey went rigid, his face a mask of shock and disbelief. I could see the frantic calculations in his eyes as he clearly questioned how this could have happened so quickly.
"Let's get out of here," I said, cutting through the tension.
As I turned to leave, Grey lunged forward. "Evelin, wait. I—"
One of Jimmy's bodyguards stepped between us instantly, creating an impenetrable wall. Grey couldn't get within ten feet of me.
"We're done here," Jimmy said, his fingers interlacing with mine as he guided me toward the exit without so much as a backward glance.
