Evelin's POV
Never in my wildest imagination did I think I'd be doing this to Jimmy.
"Stop trying to block me from leaving, or this is going to get messy," I warned him.
Jimmy just stood there, frozen. He could only stare helplessly as I methodically folded every piece of my clothing, every belonging, into my suitcase.
When I wheeled my luggage right past him toward the door, Jimmy's voice cracked behind me.
"Evelin, I messed up! I know I did wrong. Please, I'm begging you. Don't abandon me."
"Jimmy, you and I..." I started, but a loud crash cut me short.
I whipped around to find Jimmy had collapsed to his knees on the hardwood floor.
"You..." I gaped at him, stunned that Jimmy would actually drop to his knees like this.
"You claim you want me, so don't just talk. Don't leave me like this. I can't take it. I only screwed up once. Is that really beyond forgiveness? Won't you give me even one chance?" he begged.
