"What?" Dalia gasped, her face draining of color. "Your company's been doing well, hasn't it? How could it possibly collapse?"
"Exactly!" Claire jumped in. "Grey, you've already taken the company public. Even with cash flow problems, there's no need to panic. Just grease a few palms at the bank and they'll approve the loan."
Grey stared at Claire's clueless expression, too exhausted to even fake a smile.
Why the hell did I let Claire replace Evelin? Grey cursed himself silently. Claire couldn't handle the simplest tasks. She'd somehow managed to sabotage every single ongoing project.
"Claire, I never want to hear that kind of garbage from you again. If you had even a quarter of a brain, I wouldn't be running myself into the ground!" Grey snapped.
