Another silhouette entered the frame—clearly male. I was certain this had to be the co-pilot who'd already perished.

The footage captured Grace making a distinct throwing motion, likely discarding a burning cigarette.

Seconds later, fire erupted across the screen, but the drone's camera panned away at that crucial moment.

Those brief clips showed everything—Grace, the co-pilot, and the fire's deadly beginning.

For me, it was more than enough evidence.

I locked my gaze on the exact instant Grace flicked away that cigarette. My eyes burned with unshed tears.

If she hadn't carelessly discarded that lit cigarette, the inferno never would have started.

Nobody would have died or suffered injuries, and my brother wouldn't have vanished.

'Grace destroyed my brother's life!' The thought blazed through my mind, my chest tightening with anguish.

My hands balled into fists so tight my knuckles popped.
