Evelin's POV
Heat crept up my cheeks. "Why are you even asking? Selina was just talking nonsense."
"Really? So you never hit up bars to scope out gorgeous guys?" Jimmy pressed.
I had no comeback. Technically, we had done exactly that.
Selina had even hired some of the hottest male escorts in the city to join us in our private booth for drinks and games.
Though it was Selina doing all the drinking and playing.
I'd just sat there, quietly observing from the sidelines.
"So you did go," Jimmy murmured when I stayed silent. "Anyone catch your eye? Were any of those guys better looking than me?"
"Not a chance!" I blurted out. "That was ages ago. I'm heading to bed."
But Jimmy's grip on my hand tightened, refusing to release me.
"So there really wasn't anyone you liked, or was it just that none of them measured up to me?" His smirk was pure mischief.
My head throbbed. Obviously, he wouldn't let me escape tonight without a direct answer.
