Chapter 2 - Dahlia (2)

For over an hour, Dahlia continued to open each gift from her friends. She could have done it faster, but she wanted to savor the moment.

She examined each gift, wondering why her friends had chosen it for her.

Each gift contained something different. There were dolls, shoes, dresses, hair ornaments, and more. All the gifts looked beautiful, though some were odd or insignificant, like carved horns, light-up crystals, or small stone statues. Despite this, Dahlia accepted them and kept them.

She knew not all the gifts were purchased, and was certain that some were handmade, so she ignored the less-than-ideal ones.

After finishing opening all the gifts, Dahlia went to dinner with her parents.

This time, the meal was late because their servant needed to cook more food, as there wasn't much leftover from the previous party.

The dinner atmosphere was calm, as usual. And as always, Dahlia ate with gusto and joy.

Their dinner consisted of roast beef, stir-fried vegetables, and several other prepared dishes.

Their dinner not only looked quite sumptuous, but was also healthy and rich in nutrients.

After dinner, Dahlia returned to her room to organize all the gifts her friends had given her.

"Hmm, it doesn't seem right. Should I just clear out some of the boxes? I can organize them more appropriately."

She put each item into a category. Toys with toys, decorations with decorations, and items she wasn't sure what their purpose was with similar items.

For dresses, shoes, or other items, she placed them in the closet, shelves, or drawers.

"Dahlia, it's already 9 o'clock. Are you still taking too long?"

"Just a moment. I'll be right there."

"Okay."

After her mother left, Dahlia continued to tidy up more quickly.

There was actually still quite a bit of empty space there, but Dahlia didn't intend to organize it haphazardly, for fear of it becoming messy or not having enough space for other items one day.

After packing up all her things, Dahlia quickly made her way to her bedroom, but halfway there, her servant stopped her.

"Miss Dahlia, your milk."

"Ah, I almost forgot."

Dahlia accepted a small glass of milk from the girl in front of her and drank it quickly.

After finishing it, she returned the glass to her servant with satisfaction.

Tidying up so many things was long and tiring, so after drinking the milk, she felt much better.

"Thank you, Hazel."

"You're welcome. Then, good night, Miss Dahlia."

"Mmh, good night too."

Dahlia quickly parted ways with her servant and headed to the bathroom. She rinsed her mouth with warm water and brushed her teeth. After that, she returned to the bedroom.

Inside the room, Dahlia could see her father sitting on the bed wearing only a t-shirt and shorts, playing with his smartphone.

Meanwhile, at the dressing table, she could see her mother, already dressed in a chemise, applying cream to her face with a brush. She didn't use much cream, so her mother's face wasn't white or covered in cream.

When her parents saw her enter, they paused and greeted her with smiles.

Dahlia smiled back and crawled onto the bed.

She leaned against her father's arm and looked at the game he was playing.

"Okay, Kyle. That's enough for now." Her mother, having finished applying the cream, also climbed onto the bed.

"Just a moment."

Dahlia's mother leaned back in bed, waiting for her husband to finish playing, not wanting to force her.

After a few minutes, her father finished playing, put his smartphone in the drawer, and turned off the lights.

Once the room was dark, they went to bed.

Dahlia slept in the middle of the bed. Sleeping between her father and mother was comfortable. She could roll from side to side, choosing to cuddle with either her father or her mother as she pleased.

The bed was very large, so even if the three of them slept together, they wouldn't feel cramped, and Dahlia wouldn't get too hot sleeping between her parents.

After sleeping for about eight hours, morning arrived. Dahlia woke up with a kiss on the cheek from her father.

Dahlia looked over. Her mother was also awake, and she saw her with a morning smile.

Upon waking, Dahlia immediately stretched and jogged with her mother for half an hour, while her father used the bathroom.

After exercising, it was Dahlia's turn to use the bathroom.

Half an hour was more than enough time for her father to shower, so in the remaining time, their servant drained and replaced the water in the bathtub.

After entering the bathroom, Dahlia immediately took a hot shower to open her pores.

Not long after, Hazel came half naked.

Dahlia let Hazel help her scrub and clean the hard-to-reach parts of her body.

This was a common occurrence, so there was no need for commands or much talking while her servant helped her bathe.

After washing off the dirt, Dahlia soaked in the bathtub and let her servant wash her hair.

While Dahlia bathed, her father prepared himself for work. As for her mother, she prepared and arranged the food their servant had cooked for the dining table.

Once her bath was over, Dahlia wrapped herself in a towel and quickly dried herself before heading to her bedroom. After she finished, it was her mother's turn to shower.

Arriving in her bedroom, Dahlia immediately grabbed her school uniform and began to put it on.

Her mother was still showering, so there was still time for breakfast.

Dahlia used the time to gather her school supplies. Although final exams were over, preparing for school was still necessary.

Once everything was done, Dahlia called Hazel to comb her hair, until breakfast time was almost here.

When Dahlia arrived at the dining table, she saw that her father had already finished breakfast. Unlike her and her mother, her father usually left for the office at 7, so he couldn't wait to have breakfast together.

When her father left for work in the car, her mother, who had just showered, immediately joined Dahlia for breakfast, even though she was still only wearing a towel.

Her mother didn't want Dahlia to eat alone, so she chose to eat breakfast first rather than get dressed. It was her house, so she could do whatever she wanted.

"Be careful on the road."

After breakfast, Dahlia grabbed her bag and left for school after receiving a kiss from her mother.

"My husband and children have left, so now I can relax a little."

Once only she and her two servants were left, Dahlia's mother went to her bedroom and began to get dressed.

It was summer, so Dahlia chose to wear a light white blouse and a short skirt.

She reviewed the household supplies and supplies, then sent Hazel a note of any additional tasks she needed to complete via Line, before finally following her husband to the office to help him with his work.

...And that's how the organized morning went every day.
