The dark clouds passed by on the sky, and the sun had officially disappeared from the sky for the day.
A moon shone brightly.
"It's an ordinary moon…"
A zealot said with a frown, but then another zealot slapped him back on the head, like he was lecturing an idiot.
"You moron. The demon moon only appears once the moon bleeds. The moon hasn't bled just yet."
The long-haired zealot said.
"How does the moon bleed?"
The rookie zealot asked.
"It bleeds naturally every three years, and tonight is the night—we just need to be ready for when it happens."
The long-haired zealot said.
The rest of the zealots were busy making offerings for the demons that they believed would come with the bleeding moon.
In one bowl, there was a heart of a lamb; in another, there was a jar of fresh blood; and the last bowl contained the ashes of a burnt offering.
"Dear, what happens when the demons come?"
