Chapter 143 - EPILOGUE

FIVE YEARS LATER.

Lara was in a terrible mood. Her kids, for some reason she couldn't understand, had decided that they wanted to cook by themselves. 

And in turn, they had ruined her entire kitchen. What was even worse was the fact that even though they had, and were still apologising, Lara knew that her kids weren't truly remorseful.

To them, they had succeeded. The result of their success stared Lara in the face. 

Pancakes. 

Fluffy, slightly burned, pancakes. 

"If you try one of them, you'll see that we made it well. Please, mummy. Don't be mad," Ryan said. Lara gritted her teeth in annoyance. 

"I don't want to hear anything from either of you. Anything," she snapped. 

"But..." Amelia tried to speak, but Lara sentenced her daughter with a look. 

"You are grounded. Indefinitely, until I say otherwise," she declared.
