Chapter 20 - CHAPTER 20---The battle between Demon Queen and Goddess Tartarus

The Battle Between the Demon Queen and the Goddess Tartarus

Tartarus (shocked, with a trembling voice):

"You… what are you doing here? I thought you were dead…"

The Demon Queen replied with a cold stare and a voice full of rage:

"You were right… I really was dying. But a demon… saved me. The Demon King, Lucifer. He gave me a portion of his own power so I could return from death…"

Her eyes blurred for a moment, as if she were drowning in the past.

Tartarus pleaded:

"Now that you've returned, come help me… let's go back together to the throne, to paradise. I'll beg Zeus, the God of Thunder, to forgive you and restore you to your original state… sister…"

But Ichidna's gaze was more furious than ever.

Demon Queen (Ichidna):

"Shut up…! Did you really think I'd fall for your sweet words again?! You're the same one who cast that special-grade spell… and burned me to the brink of death with your damn lightning!"

A black, blazing aura formed around Ichidna's body.

Ichidna continued with a furious scream:

"I'm not here… to return to that ruined paradise… I'm here for revenge!"

The sky split open… and the battle between sisters—the goddess and the demon queen—began.

Deep underground, another breathtaking duel raged between two legends.

Yagami, eyes blazing, charged at Kurojin's legs with terrifying speed. But Kurojin reacted like lightning, leaping into the air and delivering a devastating kick to Yagami's stomach.

Yagami was hurled backward violently, blood spraying from his mouth… yet a smile crept onto his lips. Panting, he said:

"You damn bastard… your power keeps growing. What the hell is your power?!"

In a flash, Yagami attacked Kurojin's neck. Kurojin prepared to defend, but Yagami, with a deceptive feint, first struck under his feet, then—with a devilish grin—slammed his sword into Kurojin's abdomen.

But Kurojin, with superhuman skill, deflected Yagami's blade in an instant. Then, with an acrobatic twist, he delivered a crushing kick under Yagami's chin.

Yagami was launched skyward, crashing through the ceiling.

Before he could recover, Kurojin charged again—and with a precise slash, severed Yagami's leg at the knee.

But Yagami wasn't finished. The ring he had taken from the Goblin Labyrinth glowed on his finger. At that exact moment, healing magic activated, and his leg was instantly regenerated…

Yagami spoke in a calm, dark voice:

"Dark Magic… Dark Blade, Special Grade!"

With a single swing, a black, terrifying blade of dark energy was unleashed.

It moved so fast that Kurojin could only widen his eyes and whisper in shock:

"No… it's too late!"

He tried to block the blade with his sword.

The moment they clashed, a massive, devastating shockwave shook everything around them. The sheer raw power of the strike hurled Kurojin backward with full force.

Kurojin's body, still being dragged by the black blade, was pulled toward the center of the city… exactly where he had first faced Yagami.

In the final moment, with tremendous effort, he managed to deflect the magical blade… but his clothes had been shredded by the savage power, and his body was bruised and bloodied from the impact.

When he crashed into the ground with earth-shaking force, people poured out of every building in terror. Dust clouded everything.

In the sky above, Yagami stood—grinning, with an aura that stole the breath from everyone's lungs.

Shinkuro looked up at the sky… his eyes locked onto Yagami. His pupils dilated in shock.

"Back then… that was you who passed by me… but now… your aura is several times stronger… and far more terrifying…"

Yagami stood in the sky. His eyes glowed, he raised his sword high and roared:

"Continuous Black Blades!"

One after another, magical black blades poured from his sword like a rain of death.

Kurojin barely managed to block each strike. With every blade, the ground beneath him cracked further, and his strength was rapidly draining.

Sweat dripped from his forehead as he muttered:

"If I don't do something… I'll be destroyed… nothing will be left of me!"

At that very moment, high in the sky, another war was erupting between two goddesses:

The Demon Queen against her former sister, Goddess Tartarus.

The Queen screamed:

"Summoning Magic… Summon Hell Wasps!"

Hundreds of giant wasps, shrieking like banshees, swarmed toward Tartarus.

But Tartarus, with a cold smile, whispered:

"Ice Magic… Ice Bullet Barrage!"

Deadly, precise ice bullets annihilated the wasps one by one.

The Queen grinned wickedly and said:

"Let's see if you can deflect this one too… Special Grade Magic… Summon the Lord of Wasps!!"

The sky and earth darkened. A terrifying being appeared—dark body, horrifying antennae, and an infernal aura.

The King of Hell Wasps

Tartarus said calmly:

"Just another bug… Special Grade Magic—"

Before she could finish her sentence, the wasp appeared right in front of her face with unimaginable speed… and in one motion, ripped out Tartarus's left eye!

Tartarus screamed, was hurled backward, and the heavens themselves trembled with her rage…
