Lisa's pov
I saw him walk pass Grandma Kiki with his hands in his pocket,though he was flirting on Carmen ,I wasn't jealous,after all I understood there's no way he'd be mine .
It's all fine ,Jake was always by my side ,he mostly picks me up to the clinic to cover up my daily routine which I mostly feel lazy doing.
Though I had less feeling for him and only see him as a friend he still looks forward to us being together...I know it's actually impossible because I'm already in heels of love with James .
"Hey" James waved at me and expected me to wave Back yet I did the unexpected and walked away ...that was too silly of him ! It hurts ,it really does yet I have no say, do I ?
James' pov
Carmen seems too obsessed with me that she barely takes note of her job and health when I ain't around,how do I tell Lisa how much I love her when Carmen is all over me and has my baby in her belly.
I really regret having such intimacy even though I was drunk and saw her to be the girl I always crave for .
Jake stays with her most times and I feel very jealous,how am I going to clear her doubt about I and Carmen she always see together?
"Carmy permit me to check up on the doctor and get back to you "
"Have your seat" I ordered her as she nodded and walked away to the clinic with a broad smile
There she stood flipping the pages of her notebook as if she could find something when she had to pretend she hadn't seen me ,well that was fine .
I walked to her with a broad smile ,she forced a grin.
"Sup"she rolled her eyes as she quizzed me .
"Well...I've missed you, thought of coming around to say hi!"I pocketed as I said with a shy grin.
"Done?...get going I'm busy as you can see" she said and turned her back against me to speak to Jake who approached behind her .
Lisa's pov
Annoying dude ,how can he just walk up to me to tell me tales?
Jake looks so cheerful today yet there's something missing.
"J.ake..your tie?"I quizzed and he puzzled beneath his chin to find his tie undone .
"Jeeze!this isn't gonna go well...the interview...."
"Oops..that's the CEO passing by"I gasped and pulled him to the changing room to get him some official clothes , afterwards he gave me an unexpected kiss on the chin and walked away murmuring "Thank you "
I stared at his shabby shoes and laughed it off ,afterall that's what most friends do....he turned blew a kiss to me and walked in a haste to the CEO's office boldly.
My phone rung...
James' pov
Gosh ...she was so rude !,like damnn.fu**...meen I'm too hurt ...how could she ,I'm hurt deeply she could have acted a lil bit cool but why?what's all this about?.
"James!"Carmen called in a shaky voice ...I didn't mean to yell at her in reply yet I did ,she got angry,picked up her bag and started the journey into the car shutting the door angrily.
"Hw3 na wammu no"I said in my local Twi language.
Though I'm a proud Akuapem by birth , I'm with this half American black lady who wants to kill me before my time ...I ought to start the car before she drives the hell out of me with her outrageous yell.

After all those kisses I wasn't picked as ...
I'm glad I didn't put much effort because I didn't like the job ..only applied because I have to be responsible before Lisa starts noticing me ...failed once more I ought to quit both my feelings and this responsibility I'm unable to do.
Things has never gone my way since childhood,Lisa has always been by my side yet the accompaniment I want is that of a close relationship...I'm in love with Lisa .
Lisa's pov
I can smell failure once more,that's too bad because he's never gotten things right...this is the part I dislike,but do I have something to do ...I'm still figuring out why I want to see his stupid face !Lord have mercy , I really wanna see him.
My heart yearned to see him .
I dialed his number and guess what ...Carmen picked up⚡
