The instant the Blue Demon threw back its head and roared, the three survivors seized the chance and bolted—escaping death once again.
Meanwhile, in the grand hall below, Dou Tang was already preparing to transform, while Lu Zijhen was setting up her camera to record the entire exorcism. Even if someone died, it didn't matter—what mattered was getting it all on film.
She fixed the GoPro in place, then handed a mask to Huaiyin.
"Huaiyin, put this on. Otherwise, I'll have to blur your face in post—wait, no—if people see what you look like, that'd be bad."
Huaiyin didn't react at all to the death echoing somewhere in the mansion. Her calm made Lu Zijhen silently admire her courage. When Huaiyin finished putting on the mask, Lu slipped on hers as well.
Dou Tang's expression was grim—but his eyes were alight with wild excitement. He pulled his mask up and said,
"Let's go. Time to find that Blue Demon." Lu nodded, then smirked.
"Shouldn't you transform first?"
That made Dou Tang stop short. He'd almost gone to pick a fight untransformed. A bit arrogant of him—but understandable. This was, after all, a real Crown Game target.
Lu's eyes glinted mischievously.
"We used Xiao Ming's form last time. How about Kamen Rider Kuuga this time? We're in Nagano—it fits the theme!"
Before he could answer, footsteps echoed from the corridor—heavy, uneven, and fast, coming from the right.
"Lives are at stake," Dou Tang said quietly, turning toward the sound. "This isn't playtime."
Each thudding step was like a wild drumbeat, rattling the air. Even Lu felt a tremor of unease. She glanced at Dou Tang—only to realize he was trembling too.
But not from fear. From excitement.
Without warning, Dou Tang burst forward toward the corridor. Amid the chaos of footsteps, he could distinguish three distinct human strides—frantic and uneven. Survivors.
Then, rounding the corner, three terrified figures appeared, stumbling over each other as they ran. Behind them loomed a massive indigo shadow that nearly filled the hallway.
When the three saw Dou Tang, their eyes widened in disbelief. No one could have imagined meeting another person here—especially not someone who, upon seeing the Blue Demon, charged toward it instead of running away.
The excitement in Dou Tang's eyes flared, spilling into streaks of black and pink light that trailed behind him as he sprinted.
The Blue Demon roared, spreading its massive arms. For the first time, its eerie, childlike eyes showed emotion—a mirror of his own excitement.
Da-da-da—!
Dou Tang lowered his body nearly parallel to the floor and sprinted like a beast.
The survivors, terrified by the bull-like charge, pressed against the walls to avoid being trampled.
Like a fearless warrior—like a train that could not be stopped—he charged with the wild joy of a hunter unleashed, cloaked in light and mist.
"WUUU—HAAAOOO!!!"
A thunderous roar exploded down the corridor. Curtains shuddered, and clouds of dust burst into the air, swallowing everything in a haze.
Through that haze, a single figure emerged. The light peeled away—
signaling the transformation from man to monster.
A towering, two-meter-tall, black-and-pink werewolf lunged forward, meeting the Blue Demon's charge head-on!
Two colossal beings collided like sumo wrestlers at full tilt—
BOOM!
It was as if two speeding trucks had slammed into each other. The floor beneath them cracked and burst apart.
But the Fall Guy's strength prevailed. He forced the Blue Demon back—two, three staggering steps—before the creature crashed onto the ground with a heavy thud.
[Wolf Head Set] [Muscle Mode]
With his first strike landed, the Fall Guy straightened, spreading his arms wide. The wolf head atop his mask tilted back and unleashed a triumphant howl.
"WUH—HUUUAAAOO!!!"
Not a bad warm-up.
The Blue Demon rose again, stomping forward. Taking advantage of the momentary pause after Dou Tang's pose, it swung a massive hand—
THUD!
The sound was deafening, like a giant's slap amplified tenfold. The impact sent the Fall Guy flying through a door and crashing into a long wooden table inside. The antique wood shattered like crackers beneath the blow.
"You dare interrupt my transformation, you bastard?!"
Snarling, the Fall Guy shook off the debris. Veins bulged across his arms.
He grabbed a splintered table leg, burst back into the corridor, and brought it down hard on the Blue Demon's skull—splintering the wood to dust.
The Blue Demon staggered, more enraged than hurt.
Both monsters knew that such a strike did no real damage. It was mockery. A challenge.
"ROARRR!!"
The Blue Demon's bellow shook the walls.
The Fall Guy refused to back down—muscles tightening, chest expanding— and answered with a roar of his own.
Two monsters, declaring war.
The three survivors clutched their ears, but nothing could block the physical waves of sound rippling through the air. Their chests vibrated, bones rattling beneath the force of those dueling roars.
These weren't men anymore.
They were beasts beyond comprehension.
From the other end of the hall, Lu Zijhen and Huaiyin approached slowly—both wearing Fall Guy masks.
That sight alone told the survivors everything they needed to know.
Fall Guy…
Even with the wolf's head and black-pink armor, that ghostly white face and those rectangular eyes—it had to be him.
And then, the horrifying realization struck.
If the Blue Demon was real… and the Fall Guy was real…
then every monster, every exorcism, every cursed fight from the Fall Guy Channel—
All of it was real.
The battle truly began.
The Fall Guy lunged forward, fists swinging wildly, fighting with raw, animal joy— declaring his intent to hunt this creature down.
The Blue Demon, provoked, met him in kind—grappling, twisting, and hurling him over its shoulder.
The Fall Guy slammed into the ceiling, plaster raining down, before landing in a crouch, his fists clenched tight.
BANG! — his right foot shattered the ground.
BANG! — his blackened fist drove straight into the Blue Demon's shoulder, drawing from it a shriek of pain.
The shockwave rippled through the mansion.
The exorcist and the demon—the hunter and the monster— had finally met as equals.
