Chapter 20 - 20

After being substituted, Klopp waited by the sidelines to hug Lin Chen, and Klavitz handed him a towel.

Lin Chen leisurely walked back to the bench, continuing to enjoy the rest of the match.

The match finally ended with Liverpool defeating Hoffenheim two-nil, securing a clear advantage for qualification.

At that moment, a system prompt sounded in Lin Chen's mind, granting him another 15 points: 10 points for the win, plus an additional 5 points for his excellent performance.

His total points had now reached one hundred and eighty!

"The match has ended!" Instructor Zhan was very happy; he tried his best to suppress the joy in his heart, making his voice sound relatively fair and impartial.

"In the first leg of the Champions League Playoff, Liverpool defeated Hoffenheim two-nil!"

"A thrilling match, Firmino and Salah scored for the team, but Midfielder Lin Chen also performed exceptionally, providing an assist and demonstrating strong interception ability."

"We can now confirm that Lin Chen is a complete Midfielder template; he is that rare Midfielder role!"

"I believe with enough time, Lin Chen will definitely grow into a complete Midfielder like Yaya Touré or Matthäus!"

The broadcast camera now focused on Lin Chen; although the MVP of this match was awarded to Salah by the organizers, Lin Chen's performance was undoubtedly not to be overlooked.

More importantly, this 17-year-old young player emerged like a dark horse, and many Fans were surprised to find that since Lin Chen appeared, people seemed to have stopped paying attention to other young players in England.

Everyone's eyes were focused on this Midfielder.

On one hand, it was due to the attention garnered by the incident of kicking an extreme Fan before his transfer to Liverpool, followed by the video of him rampaging through the youth League, clocking out in 20 minutes and becoming a viral sensation across the internet.

Later came his Premier League debut, where he stood up to Chalobah and Doucouré, and now in the Playoff, Lin Chen has shown an even more versatile side.

Everyone knew that what Liverpool lacked was a Midfielder; after Gerrard left, people seemed to feel that any Liverpool Midfielder was lacking something.

Because Gerrard had set the bar too high, leading Fans to have high expectations for Liverpool's Midfielder.

And now, this 17-year-old truly met some of the Liverpool Fans' expectations; although still in his growth period, Fans could see his potential.

The match ended, and Liverpool successfully achieved the expected result; the players sang victory songs all the way, flying back to England.

After getting off the plane, Firmino drove Lin Chen back to the hotel; although it wasn't exactly on the way, Firmino was very willing to build a good relationship with Lin Chen.

The two were driving and chatting when a strange text message suddenly arrived on Lin Chen's phone.

"Dear Lin, hello, this may be our first conversation."

"But I hope to leave a deep impression on you. I am Raiola, a well-known Agent in the football world today. I will be at your hotel tomorrow to meet with you. I know what you most urgently need now is an excellent Agent."

Lin Chen showed the text message to Firmino, who was quite surprised after reading it.

"You don't have an Agent yet?!"

Lin Chen nodded and said, "I'm still on a youth contract. My dad helped me sign the youth contract and acts as my proxy Agent."

Firmino showed a look of disbelief, as if the heavens had fallen.

"You should find an Agent as soon as possible, and then ask the First Team for a real professional contract. Your performance deserves it, and they will absolutely be willing to give it!"

"A good Agent is more important than gold in the football world!"

He Su nodded, and just as he was about to reply to Raiola, a call came in, another unknown number.

Lin Chen cautiously answered, and a magnetic, slightly deep voice came from the other end—a standard old British man's voice.
