It had been three days since that night and Nyx feeling an odd sensation in her body.
She was sleeping with Razeil when she felt that sensation again. The sensation was filling her body with warmth. She sat up carefully, trying not to wake up Raziel, and put her hand on her sternum.
"You feel it too?" Raziel asked.
Nyx turned and saw him watching her, his one hand was on his own chest on the same spot.
"What is this?" She asked.
"The bond." He sat up and reached for her hand. "It's been growing stronger since we had sex three nights ago."
"But we haven't done a bonding ceremony. We haven't…"
"The ceremony is just a formality. But the actual bond?" Raziel intertwined their fingers. "It forms between souls, not bodies. It has been building every time we chose each other, we fought together, we trusted each other."
Nyx concentrated on the warmth. Now that she was paying more attention to it, she could feel emotions as well. She could feel Raziel's love, and concern.
