A short while later Harry and Angela had exited the hospital wing along with Andromeda and Ted, thankfully the two Hogwarts students weren't too tired since Madam Pomfrey had given them both small doses of pepper up potion since they had stayed awake for most of the night. Harry didn't see the point in staying in the hospital wing when Lord Black was there, that would be like adding a tiger to finish off a pig when it already has snake venom running through its veins.
As Harry left the room he had heard Lord Black call Minister Fudge a 'lackadaisical little fuckwit', Harry made a mental note to remember that particular insult.
Harry had spent some time with Andromeda and Ted before he returned to the Slytherin common room. That time was mostly spent on explaining what had happened but also repeatedly reassuring Andromeda that he was alright and not hurt while also repeatedly saying sorry for going to catch Sirius and Peter by himself. Harry did agree that that was a bit Gryffindorish but he also felt that there were some times where a person simply didn't have time to think.
Once Harry and Angela got into the common room it was to nearly get tackled over by Tracey who quickly pulled him into a hug. Daphne, Blaise and Tracey were the only people that appeared to be in the common room.
"Harry, are you alright?!" She quickly asked as she hugged him tightly.
"Tracey," Harry said once Tracey let go. "I'm fine, I..." Harry was cut off, this time by Daphne who quickly pulled him into a hug.
"For Merlin's sake, Harry!" Daphne said once she let go of him. "Why the hell have Tracey and I been told that you went to 'fuck shit up at the Gryffindor common room'?"
"Let's just...let's just give me a minute to get changed then we can go to the great hall so I can get some food as well." Harry sighed.
Later Harry, Angela and the trio of Harry's friends had quickly eaten and left the great hall with Harry telling them everything. If they had stayed in the hall then they would've seen the newspapers arrive and heard everyone talking about how Harry Potter had not only stopped the mass murderer Sirius Black, but had also discovered a living Peter Pettigrew. The majority of the Gryffindor's were rather thankful for the fact that Harry had not only discovered and removed an animagus that had secretly been living in their dormitory, but also the fact that he stopped Sirius Black who could've killed them all.
By the end of that morning Harry's reputation had shot up like a rocket, many students wanted to talk to him about it but were kept back by Harry's friends and the other Slytherin's.
"It's a shame that they discovered your true animagus form." Daphne told him as they walked to charms class.
"Yeah, I would've preferred to keep it a secret but I'm sure that at least one portrait would have seen tiger-me running down the hallways so there was no point in lying about it," Harry sighed. "it's kind of hard to miss." He couldn't help but add.
"The whole school knows you're a Tri-cat," Tracey said. "a lot of people are jealous, and surprised. I heard that Professor McGonagall had warned her Gryffindor's that there would be dire consequences if they try to become animagus's without supervision."
"They'd probably end up permanently having paws for feet." Blaise said with an eye roll.
During Harry's Defence Against the Dark Arts class, he couldn't help but notice how distracted Professor Lupin was throughout the lesson, during the end of the lesson Harry was ready to leave when Professor Lupin had asked him to stay behind. Harry's friends had exchanged looks with him but they did leave after Harry gave them a short nod as if to say 'it's fine guys'. Once it was just Harry and Professor Lupin, the two entered Professor Lupin's office and both sat down.
"Thank you for staying and talking to me." Professor Lupin said once they had both sat down.
"Thank you for asking nicely," Harry responded while Jet had climbed up from Harry's arm before settling down onto his shoulder. "may I ask why you wish to talk to me? Am I in trouble?" He asked.
"In trouble? No, no, of course not." Professor Lupin quickly replied. "You are not in trouble, not with me at least, as far as I'm aware you haven't done anything wrong."
"Ah, in that case, why am I here?" Harry asked.
"I…um...I wanted to talk to you about something important." Professor Lupin replied, he let out a small cough. "I've been made aware about everything that has happened recently, about you capturing Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. I've...um...I've gone to talk to Sirius, I don't know if you know, but...I was a friend of your father."
"I know," Harry said, surprising Lupin. "I have some books left from my father, he talked about you and Black in them. Unfortunately he didn't really mention that Pettigrew was his secret keeper in any of them, could have saved a lot of trouble if he did but..." Harry trailed off and shrugged.
"You knew? Why...why didn't you say anything?" Professor Lupin asked.
"Why didn't you?" Harry responded, raising an eyebrow. "You didn't say anything so I figured you weren't interested in getting to know me. And if you weren't interested then I wasn't about to bring it up in the hopes of pushing you into a relationship between us."
"H...Harry, I am sorry, truly I am." He sighed as he rubbed his eyes. "Did your father's book ever tell you about my...condition?"
"You mean your 'furry little problem'?" Harry asked. "Yeah, he mentioned that. I've gotten more proof since the start of the year, like the fact that you take days off near and on the full moon."
"You take after your father and your mother in the brains department." Professor Lupin said with a fond smile. Harry responded by clicking his tongue as he gave Lupin a wink, Lupin couldn't help but smile at that, it was something he remembered James occasionally doing. "When your...when your parents died I wanted to take custody of you, I really did. But I couldn't."
"Because you're a werewolf?" Harry asked.
"Yes," Professor Lupin sighed. "as a werewolf there were very few people willing to hire me, things were made worse after the last war. Do you know who Fenrir Greyback is?" Professor Lupin asked.
"The name does sound familiar." Harry responded before he gave Professor Lupin a questioning look.
"He was the man who turned me, when I was a little boy he attacked my family and he had bit me before my fifth birthday." Professor Lupin said with a deep sigh. "Luckily my father was able to save me before Greyback could do anymore. Partway through the war the majority of werewolves joined up with Voldemort, Greyback being the most famous of them."
"You said his name." Harry noted in a surprised manner, it was odd to find an adult who was so willing to speak the man's name.
"Yes, I did." Professor Lupin said with a small smile. "Thanks to Greyback and his pack, people were more scared of werewolves than ever before, they to this day think that we are all blood thirsty beasts that would bite them and eat their children without a second thought. So, when the war ended, I realised very quickly that I would never be able to get custody of you. I mean…it would be hard for me to get custody of any normal child, but could you imagine what would happen if I had tried to go in front of the people of magical Britain and say 'please give me custody of Harry Potter, the son of a pureblood and your saviour'?" Professor Lupin snorted. "But…I have to admit, that wasn't my only reason for staying away from you."
"Go on." Harry said in a neutral voice, giving Professor Lupin his full attention.
"I….I was not mentally sound enough to take care of myself, let alone a child." Professor Lupin admitted in a pained voice. "Your father, mother, Sirius and Peter were the only friends I had ever had. Then I hear that two of them were killed by Voldemort and that the other was a traitor who had killed the fourth. And I learnt all that after years of that horrid war." Professor Lupin said, a haunted look in his eye. Harry was about to say something when the Professor continued speaking. "So….I left the country, I thought that you would be fine, that you would be placed with someone who would love and care for you, you would be somewhere safe and you wouldn't have to worry about an old wolf like me. I was cut off entirely from Magical Britain."
"Where did you go?" Harry asked.
"I visited various countries before I had settled down in Germany, werewolves are treated much better there, I was actually able to get a job after a short while. I did send a few letters to you around your fourth and fifth birthday but I never got any responses."
"Oh, I think Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia probably got rid of them." Harry guessed, he didn't feel like Professor Lupin was lying so that was probably the case.
"Hmm, maybe. Anyway, I was in Germany, I barely had any money and I had a bit of a drinking problem as well, thankfully I've been able to get it under control but it was really bad at one point." Professor Lupin answered. "The first time I actually came back to this country was a few days before I started working here. Professor Dumbledore had contacted me and asked me to be a teacher, he had told me that he would be willing to make arrangements to help me with my 'furry little problem' as you and your father would say. I transform in the shack like I did before, except now I have Professor Snape making me Wolfsbane potion. That's a potion that…"
"Helps you retain your mind during your transformation." Harry finished. "I know, but do you really feel comfortable trusting Snape to make something for you? I mean the guy has it out for my father, and I would assume you and Sirius by extension."
"The relationship between Professor Snape and your father is a complicated one," Professor Lupin responded. "I had hoped that the Professor would have buried it by now, but unfortunately not. Dumbledore trusts him and I trust him enough to believe that he won't try to poison me. Anyway, when I came back to Britain I started catching up on everything I had missed. It was then that I had learnt more about you, I learnt how you saved a girl, Miss Davis if I remember correctly, I also learnt about how Petunia and her family treated you. I wanted to talk to you about it, I've wanted to talk to you all year, but…I've been afraid."
"Afraid of what?" Harry asked.
"I don't know," Professor Lupin sighed as he rubbed a hand over his face. "afraid that you would reject me, afraid that you wanted nothing to do with me, I was afraid I'd get hurt. I don't really know what to say, Harry, I really don't. All I can say is that I am sorry, I have failed you, I should have done more, I should have been better, but I failed you. I really do want to get to know you better, and if you are willing then I'd like for us to have the relationship we might have had if your parents were still alive. But if you aren't then I understand." Professor Lupin quietly added the last part.
The werewolf looked at Harry who was staring at him with a blank expression and narrowed green eyes, a shiver went down the Professor's spine, he recognised that look, it was a look that he had seen plenty of times on the face of Lily Evans. He always thought it was a look that she adopted when it looked like she was trying to decide if she should curse someone.
"I don't think that we can have the exact same relationship that we could have had if my parents were alive," Harry eventually spoke in a calm and measured voice. "but with that being said I won't object to a new relationship." Harry finished by offering his hand.
"Thank you, Harry." Professor Lupin said with a happy smile as he shook Harry's hand, when he tried to let go he found that he was unable to as Harry had not released his hand.
"I am not fond of giving out second chances, Professor, this will be your last one." Harry warned him, and it was a warning, despite the smile and calm voice that Harry was using. "I won't give out a third." He finished as he let go of Lupin's hand. On the one hand he was tempted to tell Lupin to shove it, but Lupin was able to give him decent reasons for why he did what he did and didn't try to make excuses, so Harry would at least give him a chance. The Slytherin part of Harry saw that Lupin would be a valuable person to have in his corner, and Harry could also admit to himself that he did want to give this a chance.
"I…I understand." Professor Lupin said as he scratched out the mental comparisons between Harry and his parents, the boy was most definitely taking after his grandfather.
The next few months of Harry's year passed by quite quickly, he attended his classes and excelled in all of them. He was really beginning to enjoy ancient runes, not just because he was friends with the teacher, the subject actually interested Harry a great deal.
Harry was doing well in his other classes as well, sometimes it felt like his teachers couldn't help but sing his praise. Harry's relationship with Professor Snape had somewhat improved, well…not greatly improved since the man seemed to be doing his best to pretend that Harry didn't exist but it was better than before, at least from Harry's perspective.
Harry hadn't gotten to talk to Sirius yet since Sirius had been moved to St Mungo's hospital, the last Harry had heard was that Sirius was declared innocent and is being medically treated while Peter had lost his post-humous awards and had been sent to Azkaban.
Harry had also been enjoying his meetings with Mrs Zabini, he knew that they were only having these for a year so he had made sure to enjoy himself as much as he could.
"You've been a great pupil," She had said as they lay side by side. "soon you'll be attracting woman after woman into your bed." She told him.
"Really?" Harry asked after taking a few deep breaths.
"Oh yes, I all but guarantee it, in fact that's how you're going to pass your test."
"What test?" Harry blinked.
"The one that I am giving you," She smirked. "your challenge is simple, seduce at least one older girl into your bed. If you want to avoid older women pulling you into bed then you need to learn how to do the same to them."
"Okay, what do I get if I pass?" Harry asked with a smile.
"Allow me to give you a preview." She purred as she licked her lips.
Harry arrived outside of the Gryffindor changing rooms, why was Harry here? Simple, he had been sent a letter from the Gryffindor chasers, asking him to meet them there alone as they had something of value that he would want.
The Gryffindor part of him was filled with curiosity and insisted that he go, while the Slytherin part of him carefully thought it through and thought about any and all bad things that could happen along with ways to counteract them.
Harry had kept Jet wrapped on his arm and under his sleeve, just in case. When Harry arrived he was met with the three Gryffindor chasers, Harry was about to say something when Angelina Johnson had quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him into the girls changing room, the other two quickly followed in.
"What is going on?" Harry asked once they closed the door.
"Look," Angelina Johnson, the oldest chaser, said. "the three of us have been talking, and we wanted to thank you."
"Thank me?" Harry repeated. "What for?" He asked.
"Well, not only did you capture an animagus that was hiding in our dorm and could have been perving at us and Merlin knows what else." Katie Bell, the youngest chaser said with a shiver going through her body.
"Yeah," Alicia Spinnet, the second oldest said. "and if that's not enough then you also captured Sirius Black."
"You know that he's innocent?" Harry asked.
"Maybe, but you didn't know that at the time." Angelina pointed out. "You thought he was a mass murderer, and you came down and took him out before he could have done anything. So, me and the girls have been trying to figure out a way to thank you. And we've found one that we think you might like." She finished with a grin as she and her fellow chasers began removing their clothes.
"Wait, is this actually happening?" Harry blinked, apparently Mrs Zabini's test was easier than he had thought. "This isn't some prank by the twins or anything?" Harry asked.
"Nope." Alicia said as she shook her head. "This is nothing more than an honest thank you." She said ust before she and her fellow chasers stood in front of Harry while wearing nothing at all.
"Oh." Harry breathed as he continued to look at the chasers.
"I'll just get in the bag then." Jet said in an annoyed voice.
"Yes, you do that." Harry whispered.
A.N: Hi guys, hope you like the chapter.
Before anyone asks, I am not going to have the majority of the story be focused on Harry bedding as many women as possible. Sorry if that dissappoints you but after this year I'm going to start focusing on Harry's relationship with Daphne and Tracey.
Also if anybody is interested in reading HP crossovers then I have a few up, there's my finished Hp/Avengers one which is called Raven. I've got three more:
Reborn - Hp/Avengers story : Harry Potter, Master of Death and wizard, finds himself in the Marvel universe. The story of a man broken by war, being reborn as the hero he truly is. Eventually multi-pairing.
Harold Wayne - HP/Batman story : Book 1 of the story of Harold Wayne. Harry Potter opened his eyes and realized that he was no longer fighting a war in the wizard world, now he was the son of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Would he live a perfectly normal life? Probably not.
Widow's Vengence - Hp/Avengers story : Natasha Romonaoff, AKA the Black Widow, and Hawkeye found themselves teleported into another world, only they were now babies. As they grew up they discovered ther magic, they had known about magic before, 'how?' you might ask. Well it was simple, they had known thanks to Natasha's dead husband who had actually travelled to their world from his own, his name was Harry Potter. It was an odd experience for Natasha, going into a school and meeting a young and abused version of her husband.
Though the last one has not been released on this site yet, the first chapter is up on my pat-reon account and will be put on this site later this month.
