The Wookiee colony on Alaris was almost complete, and Obi-Wan and his apprentice, along with the Mandalorians and Wookiees, bid farewell and returned to Coruscant.
The hyperion had been on Alaris for nearly two months, and all matters had been handled. The mines and spaceport on Alaris were now fully constructed, and the deployed SCVs had begun mining operations. Many Wookiees were also hired to work in the mines, assisting the SCVs on Alaris and reporting back to Free Mandalore on time.
"Goodbye, my friends," Kot embraced Chewbacca.
The other Mandalorians, having made Wookiee friends during their stay, also said their goodbyes one by one and returned to the hyperion, preparing to head back to Vadiel, as there hadn't been any major events in the Galaxy recently.
Upon returning to Vadiel, Kot began handling state affairs. Vadiel was currently thriving, and the affairs Kot dealt with were all minor matters, such as someone's blaster going missing or someone's pet running away. Until one day, a communication arrived from Sundari.
"What's wrong, Cousin?" Kot inquired.
"The Vizsla Clan has handed over the Zanbar System, specifically requesting you to be the Governor of the Zanbar System," Satine said with some helplessness, clearly indicating that the council was not very satisfied with Kot.
"Isn't this a good thing? Why aren't you happy, Cousin?" Kot looked at Satine.
"Hmm, the council is very displeased with you right now, regarding your private fleet, your continuous funding of the New Death Watch, and your absence from daily meetings in Sundari. Not to mention the fact that the entire Vizsla Clan supports you," Satine also expressed her frustration with the council.
"It seems to be that Almec fellow," Kot recalled how Almec had betrayed his Cousin during the Clone Wars. Perhaps it was time to deal with this 'bug' sooner rather than later.
"I will send people to garrison Zanbar, and I will also find a way to deal with Almec's matter," Kot planned to send the New Death Watch to garrison Zanbar, while Almec would need to be investigated. After all, as one of the two rulers of the Mandalorian Government, he was constantly targeting him. Could it be that he wanted to monopolize power and get rid of his Cousin's loyal supporter, so as to better control his Cousin?

On the freedom, Kot looked down at Zanbar from the bridge's glass, while two khmurlk-class light freighters had already gone down to investigate.
Lei and Pre Vizsla each led a squad of soldiers to investigate the environment there, checking for any dangerous creatures that might threaten human life.
Lei led his squad members, cautiously observing their surroundings. A primate with six limbs, a long tail, and two large ears lived on the rock pillars, feeding on fruits from the vegetation in the swamp.
A white Mommon on a rock pillar, with its children, ate blue fruits while watching Lei's squad investigating below, its green eyes darting around.
A squad member in blue and red livery saw the Mommon family through his rangefinder and pointed his blaster at them. "Captain, look there."
Lei looked over. "Monkeys?" he said, puzzled. "See if they're aggressive."
After Lei spoke, a squad member behind him immediately fired a shot next to the Mommon, which then charged forward, attacking the Mandalorians below with the branches in its hands.
"They're not very aggressive. Ordinary clan members can easily deal with these monkeys. Perhaps even children would like these creatures," Lei assessed the Mommon as ordinary, non-aggressive creatures that could even be tamed.
While things were proceeding normally on Lei's side, Pre Vizsla's side was clearly experiencing some trouble. On the plateau there, the howls of beasts constantly echoed.
"Everyone, pay attention to your surroundings, disengage safeties, and be ready to fire at any moment," Pre Vizsla warned his squad members.
The sky gradually darkened. A group of Anubas with large ears and huge tusks drooled, watching Pre Vizsla's squad, and slowly approached them. A nearly four-meter-tall Anuba King was howling, summoning its subordinates.
"This is bad, they're gathering other beasts," Pre Vizsla's blaster was already aimed at these beasts, and the squad members formed a circle, protecting each other's backs.
Lei had by this time completed his exploration of the rock pillars and swamp areas, deeming them safe for habitation. However, he noticed that the other squad had not yet returned. His squad had already started roasting fruits around a campfire, and a few Mommons had even come over, wanting to join in the meal.
Lei tossed them a few roasted fruits, and the Mommons immediately picked them up and started eating. It was peaceful here, but Pre Vizsla's side was already fighting the Anubas.
Over thirty Anubas charged rapidly towards the squad's position in a dispersed formation. The Mandalorians opened fire the moment the Anubas charged.
"Free fire! When they get close, ascend and fire!" Pre Vizsla shot an Anuba that was charging at high speed, hitting it in the head.
"Owoo!" Anubas fell one by one under the Mandalorians' blaster fire. Even so, Anubas continued to surge forward, wanting to devour the Mandalorians.
After this, the Anuba King finally appeared, dodging numerous blaster bolts, leaping high, and biting a squad member who was at a low altitude.
"Damn it!" The bitten member violently smashed the Anuba King's head. Because everyone's armor was made of beskar steel produced on Vadiel, the Anuba King couldn't bite through it, but the armor had gaps, so his situation was still very dangerous.
Seeing his subordinate bitten, Pre Vizsla fired multiple shots at the Anuba King's head, but it still held onto the member tightly.
"Hold on, Spider, I'm coming to save you!" Seeing other Anubas also closing in, he immediately pulled out a thermal detonator and threw it into the Anuba pack, blowing up a group.
Pre Vizsla sat on the Anuba King's back, directly prying open its mouth, and with his blaster pistol, he fired two shots at its head, blowing it apart. Then, he pulled out Spider from its mouth.
"Thank you, Captain!"
"It's nothing. Let's deal with them. I still need to report to Clan Chief Kot personally," Pre Vizsla, thinking of meeting Clan Chief Kot, led his men to eliminate the Anubas as quickly as possible.
With the death of the Anuba King, they also learned fear and scattered and fled.
Tens of minutes later, Pre Vizsla finally led his men back to the ship.
"You're all covered in dust, and Spider even has bite marks," Lei handed them some roasted fruits to eat.

"This place cannot be colonized; only a military base can be built. I'll report to the boss and suggest making this a Death Watch base," Lei said, looking at the roasted fruits.
"Brother Lei, I'll go report," Pre Vizsla, as a Mandalorian who greatly admired Kot, very much wanted to meet him.
