Chapter 30 - Fiora 30

Owen opened the door wider.

The inside of his house was clean and orderly. In the back corner, there was already an empty space sectioned off with an extra wooden partition. Not flashy, but clearly prepared.

"I've set aside a special place," Owen said. "No one will touch it without my permission."

"Good," Fiora replied.

Mivy helped arrange the barrels neatly. Owen had even prepared extra cloth covers and wooden boards to seal off the front.

When everything was done, Fiora stood before the wooden partition. She touched one of the barrels, making sure the lid was secure.

"Thank you," she said to Owen.

Owen nodded.

The cave expansion was completed in two days. Two full days of stone being chiseled, wood being cut, and shouted coordination colliding in the air.

Dust swirled everywhere, sweat mixed with soil, and for the first time in a long while, their cave looked more like a leader's dwelling than a temporary shelter.

All the beastmen helped.

Or at least, almost all.
