Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Her Feet Are Also Soft and Fragrant

One evening, Ethan gave Ella a foot massage. Ella had small feet with fair, smooth skin; her toenails were neatly trimmed, with a faint pink hue showing through. Following the rehabilitation therapist's instructions, Ethan gently kneaded the acupuncture points on the soles of her feet, his movements soft yet professional."Your technique is really good—even better than professional masseurs," Ella said in a comfortable tone, her eyes closed. Ethan's cheeks felt a little warm. He tried his best to focus on the massage, but couldn't help noticing the skin on the soles of her feet—it was soft and delicate, and carried a faint gardenia fragrance, the same as the perfume she wore."Auntie, is the pressure okay?" he asked."Perfect," Ella replied, her voice laced with a hint of laziness. "Back when I went to the physical therapy center, those masseurs either pressed too hard or too lightly. You're the only one who really understands what I need."Ethan felt a quiet joy well up inside, and his movements became even gentler. He could sense Ella's body gradually relaxing, her breathing growing steady.
