Chapter 43 - Entering the Hive!

"Don't move!" The four individuals in special operations uniforms and helmets quickly took control of the situation. Perhaps because Raj and Alice appeared to pose no threat, or possibly because Alice was the caretaker of the Hive, they completely ignored the two and pinned Matt to the ground.

"Report the situation… soldier!" A large man in a special operations suit and a gas mask came directly in front of Alice and asked, "Now is not the time for romance!"

He reached out to pull Alice from Raj's embrace.

"Hey, you can't do that. Alice just woke up, she doesn't remember anything, she even forgot about me!" Raj stood in front of the large black man without hesitation, blocking his hand from reaching for Alice.

"Sir, the main defense system in the room has been activated, the house is full of nerve gas, so she may still be suffering from side effects and has amnesia!" a soldier next to him said.

"Let me go, I'm a police officer!" Matt, who broke into the room, was still struggling desperately, but the more he struggled, the harder the soldiers holding him down became.

"God, you're going to break my arm!"

The black captain took off his gas mask and said, "I'm James Shade, I'm not playing games with you!"

Then he pointed a gun at Raj and said, "Who are you? Your name is not on my list!"

"My name is Raj!" Raj said with a relaxed expression, "I am Alice's lover!"

"What are you doing here?" Captain James asked.

"Dating, of course!" Raj put his arm around Alice and said, "What else could I be doing?"

"Sir, should I lock them up here?" Rain Ocampo, the female member of the assault team, licked her lips as she looked at Raj's handsome face and said, "I promise to give you preferential treatment, little cucumber!"

"..." Raj shuddered. Is this woman a sadist? But I'm not a masochist.

"No, I want to be with him!" Alice seemed to feel a sense of crisis from Rain's words, and she absolutely didn't want Raj to fall into that damn woman's hands.

At this time, the computer expert in the assault team had opened the door in the bedroom, which was directly in the dressing mirror.

Captain James waved his hand and said, "Take them and prepare to enter the research institute!"

"You, follow me!" Captain James said to the team member behind him, "If he runs, break his legs!"

Raj didn't care about the big black man's words. Anyway, his purpose was to follow them in, but he was treated much better than that policeman named Matt. At least he wasn't handcuffed, and he had a beautiful woman to accompany him…

Raj followed the big black captain into the passage behind the mirror, half-hugging Alice. Alice was a little unsteady, so she put most of her weight on Raj, letting him support her.

The group of nine entered the entrance to the Hive.

Raj hugged Alice and looked around at the environment. After walking down a long flight of stairs, they came to a platform filled with cargo. The cargo had Umbrella Corporation markings on it. Raj curiously wanted to open a cargo box to take a look…

"Don't move, that's Umbrella Corporation property!" The female team member Rain put her gun directly against Raj's lower back.

"Okay, okay!" Raj raised his hands and said innocently, "I'm just curious about what's inside!"

Rain walked up to Raj and whispered in his ear, "Curiosity killed the cat, boy!"

Alice pulled Raj into her arms and glared at Rain warily.

"Ha… it seems your little lover is jealous, boy!" Rain seemed to be addicted to teasing Raj.

"Stop playing around, Rain!" JD, the male team member who entered the train, said, "Come and take a look, the train seems to be out of power!"

"Rain, fix it!" Captain James said.

"Okay, boss, got it, boss!" Rain rolled her eyes, walked into the train, and jumped down to connect the wires.

At this time, Alice also dragged Raj onto the train. Raj suddenly noticed that Rain was desperately trying to open a door. Raj smiled, he knew what was hidden inside, it was a scumbag and a box of T-virus and antidote.

"Let me help you!" Raj said, forcibly dragging Alice to the door. There was no way, Alice was holding onto Raj tightly, from the bottom of her heart she didn't want Raj to get close to that woman.

"Yo, boy, aren't you afraid your little lover will be jealous?" Rain said, stepping aside and gesturing for Raj to start.

"It's okay, Alice knows that the only one I love is her, so she won't be!" Raj said, grabbing the doorknob with one hand, pretending to use all his strength. In secret, he had already used his telekinesis to crush the brains of the scumbag named Spence inside. Although there were no visible injuries on the outside, he was bleeding from his eyes, nose, and mouth and was beyond dead.

After confirming that Spence was dead, Raj pretended to have used all his strength to open the door. The door opened, and Spence's body fell to the ground, scaring everyone.

"He is…" Alice looked at the male corpse in front of her, the face of the corpse aroused layers of memories in her mind. She knew this person, but the disgust for this person overflowed from her heart.

Looking at the wedding ring on her finger,

and then looking at the ring on the male corpse's finger, and then looking at Raj, who was looking at her with worried eyes, Alice's heart was extremely confused. "He is…"

"Honey, don't think about it!" Raj hugged Alice and said in a low voice, "He is your nominal husband. You told me that your company arranged for you to have a fake marriage to cover things up. You don't love him and have nothing to do with him…!"

"This little guy is right!" The big black captain also chimed in at this time, "You both belong to the Umbrella Corporation and are the caretakers of this base. Your marriage is also fake!"

Alice leaned weakly in Raj's arms, her heart filled with guilt towards Raj. Even if it was a fake marriage, she felt that it was an invisible harm to Raj, who loved her… "I'm sorry, Raj!"

"It's okay, baby!" Raj looked at Alice's guilty expression and knew what she was thinking. "He never touched you… I promise!"

"…How do you know?"

Faced with Alice's question, Raj couldn't help but want to roll his eyes. He was really talkative. Did he have to tell her that his system, Vaani, told him? That would be hilarious. But he came up with a lie on the spot. "Because the one who has always been with you is me, baby!"

Alice happily offered Raj her lips…

The train started moving————————

Fifteen minutes later, the train reached the end of the track.

"Okay, get off the train! Caretaker Miss!" Rain always seemed to dislike Alice.

Alice glared at her, but didn't speak, instead, she hugged Raj's arm tightly and walked down.

After the assault team checked and found no danger, Rain began to take out gas cutting equipment to violently open the door.

Alice and Raj stood behind them watching. The police officer was still handcuffed with his hands behind his back, being watched by the female doctor in the assault team.

Raj looked up at the working cameras, a smile on his lips. Red Queen, you will soon belong to me.

Alice finally couldn't stand always following the crowd back and forth so ignorantly. She let go of Raj's arm and slowly came to the big black man. "Listen, I want to know who you are, what happened, and why you came here!"

"Well, I'm also a little interested in knowing why we came here!" Raj said, taking off his jacket and putting it on Alice's shoulders. "It's cold here, wear it, baby!"

"Okay…" Alice turned her head and gave Raj a gentle look, then turned her head and continued to look at the big black captain. "Now, immediately, tell me!"

"Okay!" The captain said, "We belong to the same company, as I just told you. You belong to the Umbrella Corporation Security, [Caretaker]. You are guarding the villa above, which leads to the Hive. The wedding ring on your hand is both a disguise and the Umbrella Corporation's mark. As for your little lover, that's your personal business, the company won't interfere."

"What is the Hive?" The police officer also came to join in the fun.

"Show him!" The captain was obviously too lazy to pay attention to him, and directly signaled the computer expert to explain to the police officer.

"This is the closest location to Raccoon City!" The computer expert opened his laptop and began to explain to him, "This is where we just came from…!"

The computer expert opened the 3D images on his computer and began to explain to the police officer why they had to enter the underground passage from Alice's room, and what irreplaceable role the Hive played.

"Why don't I have any memories?" Alice asked
