Chapter 6 - The Mind

If you go to Google, and look up "What's the difference between the mind and the brain?" You will get something like this:

"The primary difference is that the brain is a physical organ, while the mind is the intangible set of cognitive functions, including consciousness, thoughts, feelings, and perceptions that the brain produces."

But HOW?

If the brain produces consciousness, thoughts, feelings, and perceptions, then what's the mind? If the brain does everything that the mind does, AND controls it, then what's the difference?

This might sound crazy, but think of Alan Watts, he once said "When you open your eyes, you might perceive what you see to be outside."

So, the world is OUTSIDE of you. That's one, you aren't your body.

Now, if we aren't our body, then what are we? Are we our mind, or our brain?

Many people would probably start with saying the mind. But how are we our minds if the brain CONTROLS our minds?
