Three days after Sage issued the directive to prepare for expansion across Westmark, the senior administrators of the Adventurer Guild gathered inside the main conference room at Kingsford Headquarters.
The large table was covered with maps, financial records, construction estimates, and preliminary reports concerning the Kingdom's fifteen regions.
Although the Guild had already established itself in Evergreen and Kingsford, expanding its operations throughout the entire Kingdom presented challenges considerably greater than anything its administrators had previously undertaken.
Sage occupied the seat at the head of the table, examining the documents prepared by his staff. Boren and Lyana sat to his right, while Tobias Merrow and Irene Valcrest had arranged their reports opposite them. Garran Holt, Cassian Rook, Lucan, and several other department heads were also present.
Once everyone had settled, Sage placed his pen aside and looked around the room.
