Four days after the Expansion Council approved its phased development strategy, a delegation from the Adventurer Guild arrived in one of Westmark's busiest regional capitals.
Leading the delegation was Marcelline Dacre, a senior administrative officer from Kingsford Headquarters, accompanied by Tobias Merrow and two additional Guild employees responsible for documentation and contractual records.
The city was situated along several important commercial routes connecting Westmark's interior to its western markets. Merchant caravans crowded the broad streets, warehouses occupied entire districts, and armed escorts accompanied heavily loaded wagons through the city gates.
For the Guild, the location offered considerable potential. Its commercial activity promised a steady demand for escort missions, while reports of monster attacks along nearby roads suggested opportunities for Adventurers specializing in suppression and reconnaissance.
