The Blood Queen Team spent nearly an hour examining the Mission Boards before selecting its first assignment.
Several available missions offered substantial rewards, including dangerous monster suppression operations and expeditions into territories where powerful creatures had recently appeared.
However, Vanthrice dismissed those options after comparing their requirements with the team's limited experience working together.
Although every member possessed considerable individual competence, they had never undertaken an actual expedition as a complete unit.
Their first mission needed to reveal how effectively they could cooperate.
Eventually, Evelyn discovered a reconnaissance assignment concerning an abandoned watchtower along the eastern border of the Rosenfeld Region.
Several merchant caravans had reported unusual monster activity near the surrounding woodland, and local authorities wanted the area investigated before reopening a neglected transportation route.
