Mina sniffed the air as well, apparently deciding Boren's discovery deserved investigation, while Pax simply looked toward one of the nearby direction boards.

Beneath it were arrows pointing toward accommodation, dining, recreation and residential facilities. Boren read the sign, looked at Sage and started walking before anyone gave him permission.
Sage followed with Mina and Pax, deciding that inspecting the next section of the Headquarters had been the plan anyway, even if Boren now appeared to consider himself expedition leader.
