Chapter 6 - 6.

Ravian is exhausted from Garp's "training."

His instincts/Haki are beginning to awaken.

Ace, Sabo, and Luffy are pulling him deeper into their daily shenanigans.

Fate Sync is slowly increasing.

Targo, the unstable NPC from before, is still out there — and he did mention raiding a supply boat.

So the next event that fits the pacing of the original One Piece timeline and your own new plot is:

The Supply Boat Incident — The First Real Crisis

This is the moment where everything escalates.

Here is the next continuation in the same writing style, no headers:

The forest breeze felt calmer now, warm and lazy as it rolled over the trees. Birds chirped somewhere above, and for once, Ravian believed—just a little—that maybe today wouldn't try to kill him.

Then he heard shouting.

Ace stiffened.

Sabo looked alert.

Luffy tilted his head like a confused puppy.

"Is that… the coast?" Sabo asked.

Ravian frowned. "That sounds like adults arguing."

Ace clicked his tongue. "Bandits?"

"No," Mira said, appearing behind them like she always did. "Too many voices. And… angry ones."

Luffy's eyes lit up. "Let's go look!"

Ravian put a hand on Luffy's shoulder. "No. Absolutely not. Every time we 'go look,' I nearly die."

But Luffy was already running.

Ace cursed and sprinted after him. "Luffy! Don't go alone!"

Sabo chased them with a sigh. "Why is this our life?"

Ravian dragged a hand down his face. "Because nobody listens to self-preservation."

Mira shrugged. "Let's go before they get arrested."

Ravian groaned but followed anyway, legs aching from yesterday. Each step hurt, but that familiar pulse of awareness guided him—soft outlines tugging him in the right direction.

Down the hill.

Past the riverbank.

Through the reeds.

They reached the small cliff overlooking Foosha Village's tiny dock.

Ravian's breath hitched.

A lone supply boat was anchored there… and chaos surrounded it.

Multiple older boys—Targo included—were trying to break into the cargo crates while two terrified villagers yelled at them to stop.

Targo barked orders. "Grab the food and rope! We leave in five minutes!"

Ace's jaw clenched. "I knew he'd go through with it."

Sabo nodded grimly. "He's going to get all of us blamed if the Marines hear about this."

Luffy pointed. "Hey! That's stealing!"

Ravian grabbed him. "Do NOT yell—"

Too late.

Every head turned toward the cliff.

Even Targo.

"Oh great," he sneered. "It's the brats."

Ace hopped down the cliff without hesitation, cracking his knuckles. "Let them go. Now."

Sabo landed beside him. "This is stupid, Targo. You'll get yourself locked up."

Luffy hopped down too, cheerful as ever. "Also you're annoying!"

Ravian stayed on the cliff's edge for a beat, clutching his aching ribs.

He whispered, "Why am I still here…?"

Mira nudged him forward. "Because you care."

"I don't care," Ravian muttered.

The system chimed in his head.

[Synchronization Deepening]

[Emotional Link Detected]

He cursed under his breath. "Of course."

He slid down after them.

Targo smirked darkly. "Big talk for kids with no backup."

One of his gang members pointed shakily at Luffy. "Isn't that the Mayor's problem kid? And Garp's grandson?"

Targo clicked his tongue. "Doesn't matter. We outnumber them."

Ravian's pulse quickened.

Six boys.

All older.

Armed with sticks and tools.

His instincts flared again—outlines forming, footsteps predicting.

Ace stepped forward. "Last warning."

Targo spat at the ground. "Make me."

Then the first boy attacked.

Everything went loud and messy instantly.

Ace rushed in swinging.

Sabo disarmed one with a clean sweep of his staff.

Luffy chased another like an excited raccoon.

Ravian ducked instinctively as someone swung a pole at his head.

Perception Trace activated whether he meant to or not—his reactions sharpened, every movement outlined.

He stepped aside.

Grabbed the pole.

Pushed the attacker off balance.

Not elegant.

Not flashy.

Just enough.

Another boy charged at him—

Mira intercepted with a flying kick that sent the kid skidding into the sand.

"Why do these things keep finding us?" Ravian asked breathlessly.

"Because your luck is cursed," Mira said.

He couldn't argue.

Targo roared and charged Ace directly, swinging a broken oar.

The clash echoed across the dock.

Ace staggered but held firm, teeth gritted.

Sabo blocked another attacker trying to blindside him.

Luffy laughed while dodging like he was playing tag instead of fighting.

Ravian watched them—

his friends—

all bracing themselves in a fight they didn't start but couldn't walk away from.

He inhaled sharply.

His body moved before he thought.

He sprinted toward Ace just as Targo swung again.

Perception Trace lit his senses—

a sharp line, cutting across the oar's trajectory.

Ravian grabbed Ace's shoulder, pulling him back a step—

the oar smashed into the ground instead of Ace's ribs.

Ace blinked at him in shock.

Ravian exhaled shakily. "Don't thank me. I'm acting on fear."

Ace smirked. "Still helped."

Together, they stepped forward.

Targo stumbled, glaring at all of them. "Screw this! Grab what you can!"

But his gang—what was left of them—were already running.

The villagers approached shakily. "Thank you… thank you all…"

Ace scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Don't mention it."

Luffy dropped a crate on his foot. "Ow."

Sabo sighed. "We need to tell Makino about this."

Ravian leaned against the cliff, exhausted.

His muscles trembled.

His breath shook.

But something inside him… felt steadier.

Like a thread pulling tighter between him and the three boys.

The system chimed softly.

[Synchronization: 6.3%]

[Instinct Flow — Increased]

[Fate Thread — Bond Strengthened]

Ravian closed his eyes.

He didn't choose this bond.

But it was choosing him.

And he was beginning to realize…

There was no going back.
