Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Mission Accomplished, Continue Living a Comfortable Life!

At Master Roshi's house—

Krillin and Master Roshi sat frozen as Goku finished explaining everything.

"O-One… one finger?"

Krillin swallowed hard and instinctively touched his bald head.

He had been defeated by Raditz in a single move. And now a mysterious warrior had defeated Raditz in a single move.

The gap between him and that mysterious fighter was unimaginable.

"Yeah," Goku said. "He just casually used one finger and popped Raditz's energy blast like a soap bubble."

"That blast could've destroyed a city," Master Roshi muttered in disbelief.

"But the weirdest part is… he didn't want to fight at all," Goku scratched his head, utterly confused.

"He kept complaining about the trouble. He said we disturbed his sleep."

That was the part they all struggled to understand.

Wanting to protect Earth, wanting to save friends, wanting to fight for justice—those made sense.

But fighting because someone disturbed your nap?

"That Saiyan said stronger guys will arrive in a year," Goku continued, his expression turning serious.

The room fell silent.

Raditz alone had nearly destroyed them.

The thought of enemies stronger than Raditz descending on Earth in one year made everyone break into a cold sweat.

"He's right," Piccolo said coldly.

"Saiyans stronger than Raditz will come. Judging by Raditz's strength, those guys will have power levels over a thousand—at least."

Just Raditz had pushed them to total despair.

If not for the mysterious Loren, none of them would be alive right now.

Two even stronger enemies?

Krillin's face turned pale.

"H-How do we even fight that? W-We're doomed… Should we use the Dragon Balls now and wish for Earth to be moved to the other side of the universe?"

"The Dragon Balls might be our only hope…" Master Roshi muttered.

But Piccolo shook his head, "There's no time."

At that moment, Piccolo suddenly turned and locked his gaze on Gohan.

Before anyone could react, he grabbed the boy.

"This kid has astonishing hidden potential. The power he unleashed in front of Raditz even surpassed Goku at that moment."

"Give him to me. In one year, I'll turn him into the strongest warrior."

"What?!" Goku and Krillin shouted at the same time.

"No! Absolutely not! Gohan is just a child!" Goku protested.

"Womanly compassion." Piccolo scoffed.

"Do you want a son, or do you want a world where he can survive? If you keep treating him like a crying child, we're all dying in a year—including him."

With that, Piccolo shot into the sky, taking Gohan with him at full speed.

"Piccolo! Give Gohan back!" Goku shot into the air, but Piccolo had already vanished.

"Damn it! Piccolo!" He clenched his fists, staring at the fading horizon.

"Maybe giving Gohan to Piccolo is the right choice… but I'm too weak now. For the battle in a year, I must get stronger. Somehow."

Meanwhile—

Loren landed on his familiar grassy mountaintop.

The gentle breeze, the scent of grass, and the warm sunlight instantly soothed his mind.

"Finally, quiet again."

He stretched, lay down, and found the most comfortable position.

His fluffy Saiyan tail lowered over his eyes like a natural sleeping mask.

For Loren, the battle earlier was nothing more than swatting away a buzzing fly disturbing his nap.

Troublesome, yes. But now the peace had returned.

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for completing the major obstacle selection mission: Clearing Raditz.]

[Mission contribution rating: S-Rank (Instantly killed the target, perfectly resolved the crisis, minimizing negative impacts on your future life).]

[Rewards are being issued…]

Loren smiled slightly.

Finally—payment for overtime.

"[Ding! Congratulations to the host for acquiring—Personal Exclusive Flight Mastery!]"

A surge of complex knowledge suddenly filled Loren's mind.

This wasn't ordinary Flight.

It was an exclusive, totally optimized Flight skill created just for Loren.

No studying.

No training.

No effort.

His Ki circulation route, body balance at high speed, energy minimization under gravity—everything became instinct.

If he wanted, he could sleep while floating.

He could fly for days without getting tired.

"Not bad," Loren nodded.

"A perfect lazy-person skill. I won't even have to walk to the supermarket anymore."

"[Rewards have been issued. Wishing the host a pleasant life!]"

Loren checked his power level.

Power Level: 20,820

More than enough to walk sideways across Earth until Vegeta and Nappa arrived.

No idiot would dare disturb his sunbathing from now on.

"I should be able to get a good year of sleep," Loren said lazily.

As for the battle next year?

Not even worth worrying about.

With the system, Vegeta and Nappa were nothing.

He already surpassed Vegeta now—and in one year, he'd crush him into the dirt without effort.

Loren relaxed completely, letting his consciousness fade.

[Daily mission refreshed: Nap for three hours on the grassy mountaintop.]

[Mission reward: Power Level +30.]

His breathing slowed.

He fell asleep peacefully.

While the Z Fighters scrambled for training and Gohan prepared for hellish hardship…

Loren simply changed into a more comfortable sleeping position and continued getting stronger by sunbathing.
