The person was carrying a huge load slung around his shoulder. A young woman stood beside him apprehensively; her hand clutching a child who was hiding beside her mother.
"Zhang Lei?" Leng Chuan sprang forward, startling the family of three that they instinctively took a few steps back.
"Stay back." Zhang Lei reminded the otter beastman sternly. His face wasn't kind. A frown marred his forehead when he saw pieces of flesh on the house.
Leng Chuan didn't mind his attitude at all. He kept his distance as Zhang Lei took his time to scrutinize everyone who had come with him. "Do you know where my siblings have gone?"
The man scoffed when he heard his question. "How would I know? That's your siblings, not mine."
Ma Yongcheng was more hot-blooded compared to Leng Chuan. When he heard the man's sarcastic reply, he immediately jumped forward. "What's the matter with you? He is just asking you a question."
