Chapter 3 - Chapter 29 The Distance That Reverses Fate

Giai Moc Vi stood upright her expression filled with doubt. "Huh? That's strange. Why would a company that's about to go public a company with limitless prospects suddenly want to sell off all its shares?"

Dieu Tinh Phong shrugged. "I'm not too sure about that."

She paused for a moment, thinking aloud.

"For some reason, this kind of move gives me the feeling of someone trying to cash out and run."

As soon as she finished, Giai Moc Vi quickly shook her head.

"I'm terribly sorry, I didn't mean to offend the plaintiff. It just slipped out."

"But what can I do? That's exactly what I think, Your Honor. I believe this is the plaintiff's true intention behind filing for the divorce."

"She wants to leave her husband, liquidate her assets into cash, and run away before extorting a huge settlement from him through the divorce."

"Rubbish!" Ton Duc Linh pointed at Giai Moc Vi and shouted. "Do you have any evidence for such a claim?!"

Giai Moc Vi maintained her composure.
