They escaped," William Afton stated as he looked down at the city from his window. He was a light-skinned man with an attractive face, brown hair and eyes, dressed in a sharp purple business suit. "At the exact date, time, hour, minute, second you said. Despite all my preparations… they still escaped."
He turned to face a brown-skinned woman in a long white dress, her rainbow-colored hair cascading down her back, her pink eyes emotionless.
"Well now," she said flatly. "Now we can move on to Phase Two."
At that, William nodded and waved her away. She returned the gesture before the air behind her cracked open. She stepped through the rift, and it sealed shut behind her.
William waited a moment, then scowled and began pacing around his office.
"Fuck, what can I do?" he nearly shouted. "Everything goes exactly how she says it will, and that big lizard will kill us all. Nothing ever changes—"
"Sir, your daughter is here to see you," came a message from the intercom. He was about to dismiss it when he paused, a thought occurring to him. He rushed to his desk and opened a notebook.
"Earth-25… Elizabeth managed to escape long enough to wake Evan early, so Cassidy didn't go unstable."
He stared at the page for a long moment before answering the intercom.
"Send her to Room 19-87," he replied.
This might be his only chance to save the universe.
