Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Black and White Showdown

The young man had a handsome face, with golden hair flowing down like a waterfall. His facial features were well-defined, and his nose was high and straight, giving him a sunny disposition.

Kira Ryosuke carefully observed the other party.

The other party was also looking at him with curiosity.

Furancho then pointed to the well-dressed man in a suit, who was conversing with him, and said, "This is Mr. Schugglai from the Elite Club AC Milan. He is a top-tier scout in the industry, and many internationally renowned football stars were discovered by him."

"Among them is AC Milan's current star player, the Serie A's top scorer, Mr. Dio."

Kira Ryosuke's pupils contracted. He hadn't expected the man in front of him, dressed like an elite, to be Serie A's famous "star collector," a pioneer rumored to have made Serie A flourish with his efforts alone.

The one who favored him was this legendary figure.

Schugglai smiled slightly. He seemed to have great interest in Kira Ryosuke. "I've read magazine reports about you, Ryosuke."

"You are very talented."

"Especially in the video provided by Mr. Furancho, you skillfully used various professional techniques to complete shots on your own."

"You have the demeanor of that man from back then. When you grow up, you might become an attacking kaleidoscope no less than Mr. Dio."

Hearing Schugglai's high praise for Kira Ryosuke, the young man beside him became a bit restless.

Dio was his idol and the goal he aimed to surpass. He didn't believe for a second that this white-haired kid in front of him could reach such heights.

The curiosity in his eyes changed, becoming somewhat provocative.

They were conversing in Italian, so Kira Ryosuke could only understand their meaning through Furancho's translation.

As for the young man's sudden hostile gaze, he had a rough idea of the reason.

The opponent's tall stature, easily 1.87 meters, was strong and powerful. Even before stepping onto the field, he subtly exuded a strong sense of pressure.

Clearly, he was also a rare genius.

They were both peers; it was normal to feel competitive when encountering someone similar.

He, too, was brimming with fighting spirit, eager to test the standards of an Elite Club's youth training.

Schugglai saw the sparks flying in their eyes but chose not to intervene. Instead, he gave Furancho a look, signaling him to proceed as planned.

Furancho chuckled.

He led the group into the stadium.

He secretly whispered to Kira Ryosuke, introducing the young man's identity.

Abel Yulsi, the Demon Child of Italy.

In Serie A's system of slow pace and tight defense, Abel was a unique anomaly.

He specialized in tearing apart the opponent's backline, using nimble ball skills to draw people into his rhythm and then hunting for goals.

Inside the penalty area, his sense of smell was extremely keen. In the AC Milan youth team, when competing against the Fiorentina representative team, also from an Elite Club, Abel scored 6 goals alone, achieving a crushing victory and being called up to the U20 squad.

He was a red-hot rising star in Serie A.

Although he didn't understand why he would appear in Japan, a hint of excitement flashed in Kira Ryosuke's eyes. This was an opportunity; only by playing against a genius of this caliber could he understand his distance from the world.

Walking through the stadium corridor, the view suddenly opened up before them.

This was a green football field.

Before they arrived, there were already over a dozen figures engaged in intense competition on the field.

Kira Ryosuke observed them, noticing that these people were all young, but their football skills were extremely high. They were Europeans from various foreign countries.

Upon seeing Schugglai, they stopped their movements and ran over.

"Mr. Schugglai, is this the genius you spoke of?"

"Oh, God, I've seen his videos. Those basic skills, I think they're only at a child's play level, and not worth your trouble to come all this way."

A burly player, like Abel, wearing a white jersey with the number 4, walked over.

He merely glanced at Ryosuke, his disdain unconcealed.

Another tall player, wearing a number 9 jersey and nearly two meters tall, narrowed his eyes and laughed exaggeratedly, "This little chick, I'm afraid if I defend him, I'll send him flying a dozen meters away."

"Whoosh."

"Like a kite."

He made fanning motions with his hands, immediately causing the players on the field to burst into laughter.

Although Kira Ryosuke didn't understand what they were saying, from their mocking glances, he knew these people meant no good.

He slightly raised his eyelids, looking at Furancho. "Mr. President, why have you brought me here? Are you planning to conduct a test first?"

Furancho's eyes gleamed. "That's right."

"You should know that Mr. Schugglai's time is very precious. Even if you successfully attract his attention, that's just a stepping stone. To gain his favor, you still need to prove your genius to him."

He spread his right hand, sweeping his arm to point at the group of players in black and white jerseys. "Before you ask any questions, conquer these esteemed guests who have come from afar with your football skills, and show your worth, Ryosuke."

Furancho's eyes burned with a mad flame.

Abel found a black jersey from somewhere and threw it to Kira Ryosuke, provocatively spreading his fingers. "Come on..."

"Hmph."

Kira Ryosuke also felt a bit annoyed.

He came to understand the path to the world, not to be humiliated by these white-skinned guys.

He held up the jersey, his gaze burning as he looked at Furancho. "Please, Mr. President, translate this to them: I will make them profoundly realize how foolish it is to provoke me."

"My pleasure."

Furancho grinned in response.

The match was a 6-on-6 format.

Divided into black and White Teams.

Kira Ryosuke was assigned to the Black Team. He secretly frowned; from his observation of their performance on the field earlier, his teammates were among the weaker ones compared to the others on the field, possibly second-team members or substitutes.

This would undoubtedly increase the difficulty of winning.

But since it was an assessment, he couldn't say much.

After selecting a teammate as the goalkeeper, Kira Ryosuke was the first to go onto the green field to warm up his joints.

"Hehe, Ryosuke, a word of advice for you."

Furancho said leisurely from the sidelines during the warm-up break, "Besides Abel, you also need to watch out for those two guys on the White Team."

He pointed to the number 9, who was like an iron tower, nearly two meters tall, and the number 4, a buzz-cut man who resembled a violent truck.

"Number 9, Piri, primarily a defender. His defense is known as the impenetrable wall, having stifled many talented Forwards in youth training."

"Number 4, Milmishes, a Midfielder. Don't let his muscular physique fool you; his ball skills are refined. Those bulging muscles were intentionally trained to enhance his physicality and ball protection, and he possesses excellent vision."

He raised a finger, a mischievous grin on his face. "Just score one goal."

"Then you will have completed the task and received an excellent evaluation."

"Good luck, Japan's treasure."

As he finished speaking, he dragged his stout body off the field.

The match was about to begin.

Facing three world-class new stars at once, Kira Ryosuke was already itching for action.

A strange red glow gradually appeared in his pupils.

One goal?

An impenetrable wall?

No!

He only wanted to break through the iron wall. ———— //
