Chapter 1 - The World That Welcomes Once More

After claiming victory in the great war against the angels and spirits, the Demon King Rynel stood atop his triumph. The entire world of Abysheim bowed beneath his rule.

Yet that victory came with a wound.

In desperation, his final enemies summoned beings from another world — the very world where Rynel had once lived as a human.

Rumors of humans being summoned from another world spread across the continent, until they reached the ears of the Great Demon King himself.

The moment he heard it, Rynel rose from his throne, fury blazing in his eyes.

"Those damned humans… I've warned them again and again! If they summon children into this world, they won't survive long! The world's energy will crush their fragile bodies!"

With a cold tone, he called forth one of his subordinates — a shadow demon skilled in espionage.

"Find out if the rumors are true. If they are… I'll deal with it myself."

A few days later, the spy returned, breathing heavily.

"M–My Lord… the rumors are true. They've really summoned children… and sent them to our world."

Rynel frowned deeply.

"What could those fools possibly want with children?"

The spy bowed.

"They wish to turn them into weapons… they believe you will not harm children."

Rynel clenched his fist, dark energy leaking from his body.

"I see… then it's time they learn a lesson."

He then summoned his three most trusted legendary demons: Lazrel, Seraphine, and Ultima.

In an instant, the three appeared, kneeling before him.

Lazrel, a tall man with jet-black hair and golden eyes, stood calm yet radiated immense pressure.

Seraphine, a woman with bright yellow hair and pitch-black eyes, shorter but terrifying with every step she took.

Ultima, slightly smaller than the other two yet , with crimson hair and eyes — the most sadistic and bloodthirsty of them all. Her smaller stature only made her movements sharper and faster, giving her a deadly presence.

Rynel gazed at them one by one.

"Lazrel, Seraphine, Ultima… humans have summoned children into this world to use against me. Lazrel, you will lead the mission to rescue them. You're the most level-headed among us."

Seraphine raised an eyebrow.

"Why hide, my Lord? I could destroy their entire kingdom right now."

Ultima chuckled while licking her fingers.

"Yes~! Let's tear their heads off one by one~."

Lazrel looked at them flatly.

"If we do that now, we'll only make things worse. We save the children first — then you can do as you wish."

Rynel nodded slightly.

"Go. And don't let a single child be harmed."

The three demons departed.

Days later, they infiltrated the human kingdom. Disguised, they moved through the crowds unnoticed.

As they neared the castle, Seraphine whispered,

"Why are we still hiding? I could blow this place up right now."

Ultima grinned wickedly.

"I'd love to see their faces twist in despair~."

Lazrel's voice was calm yet firm.

"Hold yourselves back. Once the children are safe, do whatever you want."

At last, they found the chamber where the children were kept — ten guards stood watch.

"Ultima," Lazrel said quietly, "eliminate them… silently."

In an instant, Ultima vanished.

No sound followed — only the dull thuds of heads hitting the floor.

The children screamed, trembling at the sight of blood splattering before them.

Lazrel stepped forward, his gaze softening.

"It's all right… you're safe now."

He chanted a spell, and the children slowly drifted into sleep.

With a sweep of his hand, a teleportation circle formed beneath him.

"Seraphine, Ultima. Once I'm gone, you may do as you please."

Both demons grinned wide.

As Lazrel vanished with the children, chaos erupted.

Explosions shook the skies — screams, cries, and flames consumed the castle. Within moments, the human fortress had become a sea of blood.

Meanwhile, Lazrel reappeared before Rynel with the rescued children.

When the sleeping spell faded, they awoke — crying and trembling.

Rynel's expression softened.

"Calm down… you're safe here. I'll return you to your world soon. But before that, rest. Eat. Be at peace."

The next day, he invited them to dine together.

"After the meal," he said gently, "come to the throne room. I'll send you home."

The children's faces lit up with joy — they missed their homes, their families, their old lives.

After the meal, they stood before Rynel once again.

At his sides, the three legendary demons stood in silence.

"Lazrel, Seraphine, Ultima," said Rynel, "guard the kingdom while I'm away."

He raised his hand, blue light swirling in the air.

"Teleport World."

A great portal opened, its white radiance filling the room.

Rynel smiled gently at the children.

"Come now… it's time to go home."

In the blink of an eye, they were swallowed by the light — vanishing from that world.
