Manabu Horikita, as the Student Council President, sat solemnly at the head of the table. His hands were clasped on the table as he looked calmly at the two classes below.
Not only in his two years of managing the school as President, but even since the school's founding, this was likely the first time such a large-scale reporting scene had occurred.
On the left, in the plaintiff's section, not a single student from Class A sat in the audience seats.
Everyone was crowded into the plaintiff's area. Because there weren't enough seats, aside from Honami Ichinose and Ren Katsuragi, who were seated, everyone else stood behind the two of them.

"The Plaintiff—all students of Class A, led by Ichinose-san, have come to the Student Council to report the Defendants from Class C for stalking, tailing, and even committing acts of sexual harassment against the members of Class A."
"Therefore, the Student Council decided to summon the Defendants of Class C to the conference room to confront the Plaintiffs of Class A."
"The Student Council will issue a verdict based on whether the circumstances are proven true."
"Do the Plaintiff or the Defendant have any objections to this?"
Tachibana, who had followed Horikita's footsteps into the Student Council since he first joined, had now been there for two years.
She had long since memorized the formulaic scripts for the beginning of meetings.
"Class A has no objections." Ichinose raised her right hand, indicating she had no issues with the Student Council's operating procedure.
It was an indisputable fact that Class C had begun stalking and harassing Class A's study groups after the monthly exams.

This charge also threw Ryuen's mind into chaos, to the point where he started recalling the scene when he gave the order to the Class C students.
Time waited for no one. Ryuen didn't dare let Horikita and Tachibana up top wait too long; that would put his class in an even more disadvantageous position.
Ryuen raised his hand. "Class C has an objection."
Tachibana, who had already started empathizing with Ichinose inside the Student Council room, didn't have a pleasant expression for Class C. She spoke coldly, "Defender for Class C, Ryuen-kun, what objection do you have?"
"The defendants of Class C did not commit any acts of sexual harassment against Class A."
Ryuen cleverly avoided the stalking and tailing mentioned earlier, instead directly denying the admission of guilt for the sexual harassment charge.
Because the first two were indeed facts, and Ryuen wasn't sure if the school would specifically pull the surveillance footage because of this incident.
Without the charge of sexual harassment, Ryuen could still pray in his heart that this school wasn't so "noble," letting the two classes argue it out themselves.
If the charge of sexual harassment were substantiated, even if the school was dark to the extreme internally, they would have to pull the surveillance, or even announce it to the whole school.
The school couldn't suppress this stain.
Since they couldn't suppress it, they would simply find a "scapegoat" to take the blame. The defendants of Class C would be the best "scapegoats."
Directly nailing all the Class C defendants to the pillar of shame, and then expelling them in a display of righteousness, everyone would attribute this malicious incident entirely to this group of students.

"Plaintiff Class A?" Tachibana turned her gaze to Class A, or more accurately, to Ichinose at the front.
